National Kite Month Fun Fly

April 17th and 18th a fun fly was held in Seaside, Oregon in recognition of National Kite Month. The weekend was filled with kite building classes for kids, lessons for new sport kite flyers, parachuting teddy bears and just general kite flying fun. A special thank you to Kitelife and Al Hargus for publishing the paper sled kite plan. They were definitely a hit with the young kite builders and flew beautifully as can be seen in the accompanying photos. The fun fly was sponsored by Windancer Unltd. and many local merchants donated prizes for a raffle drawing which was held on the beach Sunday afternoon.
