http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?app=calendar&module=calendar&do=showevent&cal_id=1&event_id=89

One Sky, One World is an international kite day. Locations throughout the U.S. and worldwide hold festivals simultaneously on the 2nd. Sunday in October.A Skype or similar networking system is in the works to link live telecasts between the locations conducting this festival. One Sky,One World is like "Earth Day" for kiting, as the theme is world peace and ecological causes. In Denver, Colorado we are having the OSOW festival at Stapleton's Central Park, on Martin Luther King Blvd, east of Quebec st. An historical site for flight, Stapleton is the former location of Denver's Airport, which has been redeveloped into homes, shopping, industry, and this park. Please contact Jane Parker Ambrose jpa@earthnet.net for more info. we may be looking for kiters to travel here to fly in our festival. Contact Jane for more info.
