    • I'm in. I almost got to fly one once.
    • I saw the leading up to the attempt, but I side tracked. If you do it by the book things go mostly right, there is always the oops part that distracts you from the perfect formula. He was probably dressed well enough to glide into his target. The interesting part of his decent was half the trip had no O2 in nature for him to breathe.
    • My first quad flight was with a Prism Snap Shot 2.5 foil that I converted from two line to four line after flying it only one time.  I also purchased the Prism convertible bar at the same time as the brake line set.  Tried it out in the bar mode to start with which was kind of like a three line kite.  The two brake lines were attached to a single line at the center of the bar & basically allowed you to back the kite down.  You could also do a crude but effective reverse launch by pulling on the center line that came through the bar.  Initially I had trouble with getting the brake lines correct as they were a bit too long even when using the bridle adjustment knots to take up some of the slack.  I had my first lesson in line equalization but still did not realize the true impact it would have on my later quad flying.  After one session with the bar mode I switched to the handle mode & never looked back.  The handle mode taught me about turning with brake inputs but the small foil still flew mainly on the top lines.  A few months later my wife gave me a Rev SLE.  I finally calmed down a bit on the third session & started steering with slight brake inputs.  That got me out of the launch, spin, crash cycle & I began to fly the stiff little wing.   SHBKF Below is an image of poor form & I am about to crash in the second session of Rev flight. The "Archer Stance" would come into play later when flying the large Revs.
    • Sorry if this is too much of a left turn for this topic. Did you see the guy jump tonight with NO Chute or Wingsuit?. 25,000 into a net.
    • First Video check out the 0:59 sec and 2:46 marks.. I was still getting used to the kite when this vid was made.. I had never flown a Rev at the time.. i was just jealous of what they could do. This was literally my first 4 line kite...
