  2. The only active patent on Rev products is the Reflex "spring" technology, all other patents (kite and handles both) expired many years ago. FYI.

  3. I knew I needed to mow lawn but had the desire to fly kites too, I put 3 deltas in the sky this morning, 10:30 pm here they are still parked in the sky. Tonight the wind will slow down, letting the kites do what they wanted to do is great. No need to pack them up if that's not what they want to do! Sometimes they might launch themselves in the morning after settling down for the night, if they do settle down.

  4. Snag the cap? Never did that in many years of using the modified handles! Plus many of us fly with our thumbs either behind the top or on top of the handle and the vinyl acts as a cushion!

  6. I'm actually looking for a second set of handles for my other kite when I fly with friends who don't own a kite or if I can ever trick my wife into flying with me[emoji39] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  7. Have you considered converting your existing handles? 1465615398.723858.jpg] Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

  8. Ok, first push the loop end of the tensioner through the lower hole Take the other end, loop it around the nock and back up the other side take it through the lower hole loop and up to the top hole thread it through the top hole ( from the back to the front) and pull it down tight back through the nock where the knot in the tensioner should hold it tight. I'll try and put a picture up later if you have trouble.

  10. In both pics, the end with loop seems to go through the first hole from the picture side. What does it attach to on the reverse side? Top pic - lines from knot run into the first hole, and got where on the back side? Bottom pic - lines from knot run into the first hole, and where on the back side? Top pic - line from loop seems to go up to nook and then to hole #2. Where does it go from there?

  11. I've thought seriously about doing this... when lightning strikes the sand at the beach, it makes lightning glass out of the sand. I've always wanted a sample of lightning glass, and figure flying a kite on a wire into a storm is the perfect way to get some... of course I plan to wait for the results in the safety of the car. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7OuEXSi-8Ig
