  1. Keep in mind Eric's response was to a nearly year old topic.. I 100% agree if you are hooking in, a proper harness and prerequisite level of experience is required. If it's a safety item (like a harness) and not geared towards kiting, you are a crash test dummy waiting to gather data. Don't be a statistic or worse. As for buggying, also please don't be a youtube video that gets our beach closed. There's also a reason i don't hook in and only fly FB kites. I like being able to just let go if I get in trouble..

  2. Capitalism is a wonderful thing to contemplate. What does the consumer want? What's a comfortable price point? What is the perceived value? What are they willing to pay extra for above the stock model? And what is the competition selling anyway? In 1933 the country was in the Great Depression. Many great companies were long gone. Cars were still being sold to eager consumers regardless. Prohibition ended in December of that year. General Motors had a good price on a decent automobile. Plymouth was priced a little higher but had an all steel body & hydraulic brakes. Henry had his famous V-8 and was priced above the others. My little tudor Plymouth sedan was around $490 dollars. Bumpers were a twenty dollar option! Mine still doesn't have them.

  3. Hello everyone. I'm from Monroe Washington. Started off with a couple of two line stunt kites. Then a symphony 2.2 hooked my power kite addiction. My dad grew up near Mike huff and we ran into him at ocean shores. I bought a 5 and 7 meter four line kites from him. Picked up a rev along the way. Also got a flex foil Navarro buggy. Now i have a pretty decent quiver of foils from 1.5 to a 12m peak single skin. This year I'm also adding a harness Always wishing for more wind... Eric Miller

  5. This would be better satire if it had the original audio, but I'm still ROFL.

  7. You already know what it i$.. FWIW, their "improvement" no longer supplies a second frame,, only spars without springs..You are short one Leading edge and a whole $et of option$.. So given the price sstaysthe same, that's roughly $45 (retail) less frame components, no royalties to split and more profit for themselves. It also give them the opportunity to upsell a second frame separately. Those are some very expensive Velcro, shrink wrap and paperclips.

  8. I'd strongly advise against using any harness for power kites that doesn't have a proven quick release system.

  9. Ummmm, other than the Reflex springs and logo change, is there actually a difference I'm missing?
