Some of you will know what inspired this thread but I wanted to open the floor.. What quads are in your bag ?? Rev? Phoenix? Freilein?? Home Made?? Since I can remember I've always loved movies, especially making my own. So it's no surprise that from my first day with a quad I'd be documenting my progress. As I was making this short film a few things came to mind. First and foremost, how much fun I have. Setting up the shot, flying, editing, all of it great fun for me. The ideal handles will be a perfect match for the size of your hands. Check where you grip in normal (medium) wind speed. Is it comfortable at that location? If not, shift the grip and bend location to a more comfortable spot.

wow, it's totally up to your preference,... I've seen handles with 2 bends and a straight section between, I've made my own too, they were bent in a pipe bender, with the curvature up high and then gradually to a straight line away from there. Mine were made for long throwing in-land no wind conditions, so they are made from titanium grade 5 tubes 3/8th's in diameter. 19 inch tube lengths before bending! The point of doing it yourself is to get something you couldn't have otherwise, not necessarily to save money. Enjoy your experimenting!

When I read things like this I don't know if I am glad that my husband doesn't read this forum and so can't be worried by your lists, Or I think: Should I show him your lists as a "see? My two (three thanks to the drawing) revs are not many at all!!" Working to keep my bag lean and light but full of fun. . Currently 2 revB full sails 1 revB full vents One line set each at 30' 80' 120' Still drooling over Shook meshes, but gotta fly for a few years before I go there.
