  1. I've been doing this since 1992, but had a particularly great outing at Kasai in Tokyo yesterday after not doing it for more than a year... (photos courtesy of Iijima-san) The dual line (a Shiva by CDC) is attached to my belt loops (steering with my waist), and the Rev (custom B-Series) in my hands. Did a lot of stuff I'd never done before, to mention a few: Simultanious spin landings. Flying the dual around the stationary Rev (while rotating the Rev - matching a wing tip with the dual). Docking/refueling (flying the dual into the "V" of the Rev), dual on slightly longer lines. Anyway, just wanted to share... I hope it makes you want to try something new and crazy!

  2. using the Park Place Webcam http://ocparkplacehotel.com/cam.cfm So far I've recognized 3 of 4 TKL members on Monday. I also recognized Eliot and Cath Shook today as they walked by carrying their kites but didn't grab a pic. Watching the big SLK's down the beach is relaxing and closest thing I have to being there. Seeing someone you know or recognize is kinda cool as well. Anyone else recognize friends, faces and fellow kiters in the webcam?? (It doesn't count if you just recognize the kites. That's too easy)

  3. Yep it's a finger/wrist strap combo. I have a very limited experience but its lighter than my prism equalizer straps. looks like it's made of the same material as keychain neck straps and is actually very well made. As for the kite, i went for a silverfox 2.3 pro but i must admit i looked at freilein a bit and they do look interesting whether be their qlk or dlk oh and i also bought a small hengda stuntkite and a few cheap slks funnily enough i've found out that the slk (which i anchored on the field) along with the tailed stuntkites are the one that draws crowds here's a small video of my latest kiting session with a friend of mine. I'm with the red hat with green kite Edit: Sudden realization - i am becoming a kite hoarder....

  4. From the album: HappySuper Moments

What a sight. Steve parked it right at the very, very edge of the window just so we could get her nicely lit up by the setting sun, the golden minute where everything is in golden light. Ran up to snap the shot!
