  1. Out standing in our field. *chuckle*
  2. Watty... Have you ever worked with HTML coding, or semi-large sites?
  3. I'd tried this more than a year ago, and didn't get much response at all... I was disappointed, to say the least. The other thing that ends up happening, is a whole bunch of empty threads for articles when they aren't replied to. My biggest issue is that all actual site creation, changes, maintenance, etc is 100% done by yours truly... Plus all the other sites I manage for others. If someone was interested in an unpaid position with Kitelife, handling little things, I might reconsider.
  4. You know Kris, this is an AWESOME suggestion... Something I'd considered before. Problem is, Kitelife Magazine is done in static HTML... To do something like this, I'd have to convert everything into dynamic (database-driven). Aside from the work involved, that in itself isn't so bad... But, you can't break static pages... Databases always run the chance of going wonky. So, duly noted... Agreed... But... Not this time around. I've got a lot of other stuff that needs doing "around the house" at Kitelife, but I just don't have the time.
  5. The paneling is more extensive than the EXP, and the quality of fabric is better... You can feel the difference in cost when you fly.
  6. Missed you on Sunday Leigh, take care of that sunburn.
  7. A lot of shops will also SWAP the EXP leading edge (3 wrap) in place of the thicker spar upon request. I highly recommend this, as the SLE spar makes the kite less controllable.
  8. I understand. Whenever you manage to wrangle one up, or before, we'll be happy to help with any questions at all.
  9. Awesome, glad to hear you and the family enjoyed it. Sure wish we had video of our routines and/or sessions on Sunday. Did you go home with a Rev?
  10. Come try the B-Series, on the Rev field... iQuad will be spending some time teaching today.
  11. iQuad had a blast... Did at least 2 team demos each day, plus individuals, and a Rev mega fly at the end of each day. We actually had 11 Revs up on Sunday, even on that small field!
  12. Drum roll please... The winner of this great prize is: Charlie Thompson - Subscriber #351 Congratulations Charlie! Our new prize(s) will be announced within 24 hours.
  13. I like both, but greatly prefer Revs.
  14. Due respect, I'm going to lock this thread... It seems experiences have been shared, and enough has been said. If you have a separate experience worthy of mention, with Bestkites or anyone else, please open a new thread. No harm, no foul... Just moving us on to new stuff. Cheers.
  15. All Japan Sport Kite Association http://www.ajska.gr.jp/ More than a few events, lots of fliers, especially Revolutions.
  16. This is our first show... There are pics from our practice in France, didn't you read that issue of Kitelife? http://www.kitelife.com/archives/issue53/redbull53/index.htm
  17. Hey gang, I'm at PDX right now awaiting my flight to Frankfurt > Zurich, then a train to Interlaken. I'll be landing back in Portland on 7/17, should be back on line that night or the next day. Will try to get good photos and video from the Red Bull show, if I'm not too busy working in it.
  18. Okay, just changed a setting... Let me know if there's a difference?
  19. Honestly, I'm not sure... I'd run into the same issues on my end (traveling as much as I do). It's something I'll check into, when I have time.
  20. If you have trouble playing the video, right click on the video link itself (on iQuad's site), then "Save Link As" or "Save Target As" to put it on your local drive... Once it's all downloaded, try playing it right from your machine.
  21. Should have warned you, watching this video may cause convulsions.
  22. I enjoy almost all sport kites, but the Rev is my favorite by far. As Penny puts it, "Grand Control" is exactly what a Rev offers. There are merits to both dual and quad... A good thread on the subject here: http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=1588
  23. We did aerial video, earlier this year. http://teamiquad.com/videos.htm Look for 2007 Skagit Valley Tulip Festival "Come Fly with iQuad".
