  1. I also use to fly on sand. It is pretty right, what Rob writes. Maybe if you get a new kite, you like to assemble it in the living room to examine it or just have a look on its beauty. But when you once have been out at the beach, it is not a good idea to unpack it indoor.
  2. Oh sorry, I didn´t look at your Location. That is great, Icare should have this kites on stock.
  3. Sorry, I have it directly in Germany from Wolkenstürmer: http://wolkenstuermer.de/shop/paralift-3-1-einleiner.html Don´t know where to get it i the US.
  4. Like the lifter I tried out lately. It is a Parasled without spars in longitudinal direction called Paralift. It has a lift going upwards so it can carry laundry or cameras well. At present two sizes are offered. A smaller one should be added in 2016.
  5. All the best for 2016. Have smooth flights ...
  6. You can see some more of the great movies Gerald made at his Lepidoptera-vimeo-channel: https://vimeo.com/lepidoptera/videos It is the festival-banner of Wolkenstuermer at the beginning of the video. It is nearly 10 ft. high and available in three color combinations: http://wolkenstuermer.de/shop/festival-banner.html
  7. Thanks, it´s a honor for me. Would like to fill your bookmark with interesting content, SHBKF. Who wants to read our regulary news on his smartphone can get it here: http://kite-and-friends.de/newsapp/ or with the "international" Facebook channel.
  8. Just want to show you, that before christmas it is no kiteflying off-time. Especially in Cologne in Germany there was a meeting called kiteflying with "Glühwein" (hot wine punch). The spot Pollerwiesen gets more and more famous for the kiting activities. Here next to the river Rhine Gerald Schauder of Lepidopteran made a nice video in which the two line and Rev pilots are shown well. Have a look yourself: The resumé to this movie: Give the people of Cologne mulled wine!
  9. Thanks John, yes, we just arranged an international section on our website with reports of the magazine, that we also have in english language. Put them online to let the people see what we are doing that are not able to read the german. http://kite-and-friends.de/category/international/ There are also the reports included we made with you this year, John. Of course there are the english facebook-news and english news-app for all that are interested.
  10. Of course it was a red kite. A new M9 of HQ-Powerkites.
  11. Thank you for the warm welcome, I am Jens Baxmeier - yes another JB - and I am from Germany where I run my magazine KITE & friends since 1999. Yes, kiteflying is part of my life for many years now and there are so many possibilites, that it never get boring. Of cause with the magazine I always have a look into all kinds of kite life, because we are doing all from single lines, duals, quads until the traction side with kitebuggy, landboarding and snowkite. It is pretty cool that there are so many enthusiastics all around the world.
