  5. I have been experimenting with line laundry to "pull" the kite back in the higher winds and it has been working. Need some more and other types of laundry to test. I know the kite can handle it now though. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  6. I found that when I fly my Vented Seven with the brakes fitted, slides are much easier. Have yet to try them on a Standard sail though. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  7. I think there are some Kitelife stickers available through cafepress. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  8. ...and down the rabbit hole she went. You'll have a bit of info overload for a while as at each new kite you see will lead you to another. It's ALL good so don't worry. Set you budget and give yourself maybe 10% wiggle room... Hoping to arrange a "meet and greet" soon. Nothing beats holding a set of straps/handles/winder in your and hearing the gentle rustle of ripstop. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  9. Hurry, Hurry, Hurry, You only have a short time to climb aboard the "Sharpen you skills" train. Choo Choo!! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  10. Easiest way is to go to a kite shop webpage, The Kite Shoppe is a forum sponsor too, and see how much a comparable kite is going for. If you are including lines and stuff add that. Include if you are pricing shipping in the cost or not. There is a For Sale section for selling kites. And post a pic 😜
  11. Just a note: You can make your own leaders by threading 100lb Dacron with 80lb Spectre core with a tapestry needle (round tip). Great tip from kite maker! Loop on one end and knot on the other. Goes without saying the should be the same length. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  12. I think once you hit a certain post count the "title" changes. You can even edit it at some stage... Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  13. For $500 you could get both! I'll pm you some Aussie kite shops, won't post it here as they aren't a forum sponsor. This will ensure you can get it before Christmas. Post this time of year can be killer slow. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  14. Stop the press! DONT BUY ANYTHING just yet. I have some that you can try first. Entry level; Jammin by sky dog at under $200. Inter to Experienced; I have some Temptations at 7 foot wingspan. I have some Sevens at 8 foot wingspan. I even have a two line foil to play with. We can sort something out. However, if you are busting to buy something a capable trainer at a budget price is the Jammin. I'm at work currently so I'll check back with more. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
