Yippiee Posted September 20, 2008 Report Share Posted September 20, 2008 Hi - I just found out about the 2008 Whidbey Island Kite Festival (too late to go) :confused!: It is Today - Sept. 20th & 21st 2008 I can't seem to find any information on the forum or calendar about the event. I believe it is a AKA sanctioned event. I really would have liked to gone had I know about it soonier. There is camping and **indoor kiteflying ** Sat. PM. Come try it. I'll be there giving lessons and demo's. I'll be there tired from Santa Cruz and Kentucky, but I'll be there and there will be laughter in my field. I've got to catch up the new events on the calendars that I know about. (Lincoln City and Camas) If you take the Keystone ferry, go left 1/4 of a mile and there it is on the parade grounds. Come on Mike.- Curtis.. you and Andrea too. There are hotels for those that are not up to camping. The forcast says sprinkles periodically w/ 30 % rain. That's not much! Carol, Rich and all those club memebers, I hope to see you there! Too many projects going on here Penny, the good news is, when you come for Camas, I'll have the hot tub in the back yard by then It's supposed to be delivered on the 24th When I try to add events to the calendar, I still get an error message.
