roisinroisin21
Hi folks , was playing around with my 3D yesterday and for what ever reason couldn`t get it into fade pos. So i thought a little tail weight would make it happen , i havn`t seen manufactures weights for this kite so i thought i`d give it a go. I made these with plumbers solder fitted and tested all i can say is YEAH. Also do you think these could be fit to other kites. Any coments please
tonycarl60
I think it's a good idea, I've used this method to turn one of my fighter kites into a glider kite, works great. You can slide the weight up and down the spine and use a piece of tape to hold it in place.

layangman
Yes indeed, I added a small weight by using a spare spar to spar connector, slot it into the spine, into the other hole of the connector, I added a small solid steel rod. I can easily change the weight by using different length steel rods on the fly;)
