hi, I love this site and I'm on it all the time. The only thing that I could think of to improve it at all would be the addition of a wind meter that's linked to your area. Looking up what the weather is doing is pretty much the only thing kite-related that I don't go through this site for. Just a thought. Thanx again for the great site!

Good suggestion Shane, have you seen such a widget that we could embed?

I believe if you log on to the weather channel that they have something like what i was talking about (did a little research after posting)

I think I tried to have a go with that one a while ago and didn't find it to be user-friendly on the admin side.

Interesting site T, but we're looking for a widget, something produced by a weather service which we can insert into the Kitelife forum pages, and allows our members to set their own weather location to pop up when they log on. ;)

I have been searching for a while and I keep finding dead ends. There's a place on yahoo where you can apparently make your own widgets but I've never tried to make a widget before. I'll give it a shot (possibly on friday if it's slow at work) and see what i can come up with, but as of yet the best one i've seen is the one i already left a link to. I'm still searching though. I'm actually kinda amazed that there isn't one readily available.

Well, it's simple enough to add one with a fixed weather location (i.e. Portland, OR)... But having one that you as a visitor can set to your own locale is a bit more challenging as we have visitors from all over.

Also, the presence of Laptop and PC weather widgets probably negates a lot of the need for people.
