I can't recommend it yet, but will be in contact with park staff to get a better feel for it. The park rules state that kite flying is allowed but has a very vague description about it only being ok in certain areas without pointing those areas out. I flew at the top of the Amphitheater hill beside the Field of honor. It was a good place for one or two stunt kites on shorter lines. RobB Posted July 11, 2015 Report Share Posted July 11, 2015 Looks like a good spot... I know exactly where that is, I used to pick up equipment from an office in the industrial park right by there. Use the Google Maps, you'll be able to 'fly over' and identify good spots to fly. It looks like the 4d will become your best friend when you're flying around there, wherever there's open space, it seems like there's lots of trees, too.
