Looks good. 

You might consider some kind of stirrups on the steering bar so your feet don't slip off when you hit a bump. That could break a leg at higher speeds. 

If you plan to use it on sand, the rear tires will need to be bigger (more surface area) or they will tend to sink into the sand and you won't go.

I am about 759 miles away from the (closest) beach ... so, no worry about the sand :)

I'll show you how to steer (3rd or final) version wooden kite buggy's steering plank on video before Saturday night.

We have never slipped a foot on this 2nd version, but my uncle who got me started has slipped a foot from the peg ... I used the "eyelet" long screw ... zoom the photo and you should see it clearly ... and also the steering plank got 2 size ... one for 6 footer and other for 5 footer ... just turn it 180 all around it which brings the steering plank closer to seat or farther away from the seat :)
