alfric Posted September 18, 2016 Report Share Posted September 18, 2016 Hi folks. Yeah got interested in kiting last year when some guys let me fly a Prism Snapshot on the beach. Bought a Synapse this year and got to fly a few hours at the beach and now Have picked up a used Peter Lynn Uniq 4 line single skin foil to play with and possibly get into land boarding or buggy riding. I live in the foothills of NC and am thinking about a good place to fly and practice but winds here are so back and forth might be a big problem to get some regular flying in. Anyone around the Western NC area please feel free to let me know of a good place to practice and may6be meet some new folks to help me along. I go by alf on forums but my name is David Cox. I work as a paramedic in Wilkes County NC and need some distractions. WE fly every Sunday morning at Fort Macon State Park. We also have a local kite shop, Kites Unlimited & Bird Stuff, Etc. I've never ventured "out west" to fly with them, but I've flown with some of the members of a kite club from around the Charlotte area when they came to the Outer Banks. Nice folks and great kiters.
