We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way, and they get a chance to win an early present just in time for Christmas.

B2 STD (package w/ handles, DVD and kite sleeve), roughly a $329 value!

This package includes kite, TWO frame sets, 10" adjustable handles, DVD and kite sleeve - ready to fly!

NOTE: The kite in this drawing is RED and black with black center.

This is regular (factory) model, it is not a Pro by Bazzer, but will still provide excellent flying for whoever wins. ;)

You can sign up here.

Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/352, and will be drawn on December 20th, 2016!

Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!

Did Bazzer actually make B2-Pros?

I would love to have a B2-Pro in a standard and a vented if they exist.

No he didn't, but I still feel the need to specify with any B drawing - partially for the n00bs. :)

One of the most versatile full sail kites. With magic sticks on mine, the 2 frame was good from 0 (true zero!) to 20 miles an hour.

Whoever wins this will be VERY happy.

This is possibly a very timely prize. I was looking for a particular B2 that none of the numerous stores I spoke with had. I called Rev to see if they had one. With all the changes with Rev's line-up over the past 6 months I asked about the future of the B2 . She said the B2's future will be discussed in a meeting this month.

The B2 might not be around too much longer.

it will be interesting to see how they handle things. They have all the specs. all they really need to do is change the panel layout and rename it. Same on the 1.5. Then again, they used "B" panel graphics on a Rev 1 without any thought, didn't finish the whole sail with a complete update, just graphics.

So what the future holds ........?

Is the design patented under either a design or utility patent, or copyrighted by anyone? If not, they can continue making the same panel layout, and even continue calling it the B-Series in recognition of who designed it. The signature, since it will no longer be endorsed, would have to go, but they could still acknowledge the designer(s) of the kite directly on the sail if all parties involved agree to allow production to continue.

It would be a shame to force a great design into extinction and deprive those who buy and fly them of the pleasure. If the intent is to artificially inflate the value of existing models and put the purchase price beyond the reach of beginners, then they're on the right track because that is exactly what will happen. Most of those who first witness the precision of a quad-line kite already balk at the idea of spending more than $200, (What? You think I'm gonna spend $200? On a kite? Are you crazy?), and putting a quality design maybe not beyond some people's reach, but definitely beyond most people's consideration, will make introducing and "selling" our love of kiting to others more difficult than it is already.

As I see it, making the B-Series not available as a new build can only serve to decrease sales and profits, and the pleasure and satisfaction of those who would buy them. I would like to be able to replace worn sails with new. I am hoping for an amiable solution.

At this point - anything is possible, but seems improbable. But we'll see when Rev announces their sail lineup for next year - maybe??

That is the video that I show people, when they ask to see what kind of kites I fly or what does a quad kite look like.
