I have been flying 2 line kites casually in the Vancouver area for several years now, and my poor old kite just had to retire, so I was on hiatus for a couple of years. Recently however, I came across a Prism Quantum in a local kite shop, and I was impressed with it, and the price was very good and decided to get back into it. I have only flown it a couple of times in the last month, but I thought I'd look into finding others who might enjoy kites (my friends think kites are just kids toys). I'm looking forward to getting some tips and sharing my experiences with you. Thanks for having me!

Hi, SeeGee, and welcome to the forum. It's good to have you on board. All the information you'll ever need to know about any kind of kite can be found here. I look forward to sharing a field with you someday.

Have fun, smile, and don't forget to breathe.

P.S. -- Challenge your friends to see how well THEY can handle your "kids' toy". Should be quite entertaining, and a great way to get them into it.
