  1. I just know this guy is not flying a Cody, I just know he is not flying a Cody!
  2. only the Codys built by someone else, they know I am going to go to work on them
  3. I heard there are little apes, do they count? They both have long arms that they put around things
  4. You know someday I am going to say something that is going to cause Lisa to say something on a site and I am going to faint dead away
  5. Wait A Minute! Are 4 of my Codys in danger of loosing their lives? Lisa, help me out here!
  6. For AKA Convention you have two choices as a guy, you can show up in casual attire for the banquet and awards and blend in with some of the people or you can wear something really strange and kite related and fit in with the rest of the group, the ladys always just seem to show up looking really pretty (I dont know how they do that but they do). When it comes to flying, bring the best you have! As for the rest of convention .... be prepared to spend money at the auctions and attend as many classes as you can! Also, when you see some one of the big name kite fliers hanging around a lobby or lounge some place, walk up and say "Didn't I see you at Long Beach" and go from there
  7. Okay Llamafeller, this is really going to shock some of these poor girls but I happen to know that you posses 4, when he gets them up he REALLY GETS THEM UP! So now that the secret is out of the bag, all 4 bags, can you really get them all up at one time, hmmmmmm Llamafeller can ya, can ya? I heard Lisa is a very happily married lady, I just wonder how Lisa got the cape insted of Llamafeller ... makes her fell like Wonder Women???
  8. Kitepilot, to answer your questions about using a Cody to lift a camera and equipment, I would suggest using a Cody War kite rather than the Extended Wing. A War kite with a 6 foot wing span would do the job very easily and add the Top Sail if you can for extra lift and stability. As for breaking the kite down into a compact package, sorry, you have the wrong kite, this kite would break down to just under 4 feet long in a bag about 3 inches across. The Cody is a very dramatic looking kite in the sky, it is a very stable flier in good winds and it is a pure lifting kite but it also requires some set up time and as I have said it can not be broken down any further than its length from leading edge to trailing edge without adding additional time to set up If I have not dampened your interest in the kite go to www.rickbrowncodys.com and look around, if you would like to build your own Cody let me know and I will let you know where to buy some good instructions in England.
  9. Oh I love this! Llamafeller is in trouble and not me! How did this happen, I am going to have to watch this a little closer! Llamafeller I have already found a spot where we can burry our heads in the sand till these girls stop looking for us, just follow me
  10. that was the best defense I have, if you arent afraid of the Codys and I only worry you a little guess I will just have to hide behind Llamafeller awhile and wait for the spuds in the sky to clear.
  11. Liston Girlys, I am sorry but you just dont stand a chance when it comes to a dual with a Cody, I have a spider web in each wing of my kites that will trip your kites up, I have rods that extend beyound the leading and trailing edges that can pick you out of the sky with a lifting power that you can not equal. I am guessing that it would be in your best interest to just stay away from the Codys Oh, and just so you know, the Trilbygirly is not as much on your side as you may think, to my understanding she is still flying a Cody herself
  12. AHHHHH the age old question, what is a stack of kites and what is a train of kites? As far as I have ever heard stunt kites are always flown in stacks, single line kites are flown in trains! However, you can fly a stack of Codys so the rule does not always apply for single line kites! I guess when you have a special kite like a Cody you have to expect that the rules may be broken but when you are flying something else the rules do apply
  13. I am having a little trouble figuring this one out Monkeyfella, you want a camcorder so you can photograph the Angels wearing thongs or attacking me??? Knowing that you have all your hormones in tact I am going to guess that you are after the photos of the Angels in thongs As a defense against the Angels I suggest that they stay away from any overhead Cody kites, I shouldn't say too much but has something to do with Codys being lifters, baskets being lifted under Codys and then baskets full of rotten tomatoes and little trap doors on the bottoms of the baskets I am thinking that glow in the dark thongs should make for an easy target day or night
  14. Go easy on the poor little mouse, believe it or not I have good information that says she is working on a new kite of her own (design and construction) that will knock your socks off!! It is going to require some tails but from what I have seen she has it ALL under control Watch out world, here comes the single line Trilbygirly, artist and all!
