I started flying kites in 2006. I had bought a kiteboard trainer kite and took it to WSIKF 2006. There, I saw Lam Hoac making his Sea Devil do things I never knew a kite could do. And I saw iQuad. After about a year of competing with the great folks of NWSKL, I was hooked. It didn't hurt to have the Kite Shoppe just across the river and John B just down the road. Now, with a few kite bags full, I look forward to every kite fest in the Pacific Northwest.
