  1. Yes we all ready have planes on attending that :)looking forward to it. Thanks for the heads up on the vendors I did not think any would be at it, I will definitely remember to stop at the bank on the way lol. What kinds of kites you like to fly? James
  2. Some dual line videos would be nice. James
  3. Well when I was checking the kite out the standoff connectors sail side rubber just crumbled to peaces. Anyone know wher I can get replacement parts like this? James
  4. Finally got a kite lol. The price was right, FREE. It is a Beetle, nothing fancy but it will work and the price was great. Gets me started. James
  5. Seeing another hurtle to get over would be knowing what model to get being there is a few to pic from and no vent, mid vent, full vent, leather seats, and power windows : James
  6. Hi James, How's the kite situation going? Keep It Up! Duane No kite yet. But it is tax return time so maybe I can talk the wife into letting dad get a Rev.MAYBE!! lol I need a cool closing phrase??? James
  7. Big thanks to Duane for the line sets. It is much appreciated my friend. Sorry I have not been active lately. My daughter is 11 months old and has started crawling so I have done a lot of baby proofing and watching her to she what all she can get into to see what else needs moved or what not. It blows me away how fast time is going by now she is in my life. James
  8. After hundreds of hours of looking at videos I do love the flight of the Revs so I just need to save some $$ and get one just may take a wile. James
  9. Did you get your kite caddy rolling yet? some dolly wheels or wheelbarrow wheels could be used. Wheelbarrow wheels will be a bit heavier but smother rolling. James
  10. You look REVed up. Nice shirt. James
  11. I am definitely going to be going to any kite festivals around here. James
  12. I did join the KCKC "Kansas City Kite Club" about a week ago and they have nothing showing any festivals anytime soon. Also does not look like they have any kind of place to look for some one to kite with to check it out. But it is the place I found the link that brought me here. James
  13. Thank you every one for all your post. Got way more response then I thought I would and fast to boot. Also a big thanks for the extremely warm welcomes. You all are an outstanding bunch and I am glad to be a member. James M.
