To develop research proposals for an initial qualitative research project using a small number of participants to see how they use kite sports as self therapy, their perceived benefits and drives. From this pilot project to look at quantitative research with measurable outcomes. It is hoped to engage my local NHS Trust who I work for, the local university and also specialist national universities. By engaging students in their final year, be it clinical studies such as medicine, Physiotherapy, occupational therapy, nursing or even business studies or media .. they can pilot projects as part of their dissertations. As research projects are completed it is hoped the publish the outcomes in academic journals.
