Yeah, watching the video at home, and trying it out in the field.... yeah, something gets lost on the way. My mind just blanks out most of the time when I'm trying to learn something new. But learning a new trick is rewarding because it takes so long to get to that point of claiming another trick in the bag. At least that's my experience.
My first real trick other than stalling & figures was a Lazy Susan, too.

NYC has got everything... even wind ! Too bad we don't have any kite fliers here to take advantage of it ! You would think out of a few million people, there might be more than a dozen kite fliers... 8(

I really like my old New Tech Firestorm. It's also 10' across, but geared for tricking rather than power flying...
