Welcome to our annual Daily Updates from the 29th annual AKA National Convention held in Des Moines, Iowa... We'll be adding photos, competition results and festival highlights on a nightly basis from October 2nd through October 7th, 2006!
The outdoor portion of the convention will be held at the nearly 1,500 acre Water Works Park in Des Moines, and the most of the social functions will be in the Airport Holiday Inn.
(updates will be uploaded between 10pm and 7am, depending on event schedules and activities throughout the week)
