Two full days of kite flying on South Padre Island sponsored by B & S Kites. Spectators from all over North America come to see the spectacular colors in the sky. Sport kite teams, pairs, individuals keep the demo field active with entertainment. There is a teaching field for those who want to learn to fly. iQuad will be demonstrating their skills throughout the festival. There are flying areas for the large single-line kites, medium, and small kites too. The banquet and auction are on Saturday evening.
There will also be a Rev Clinic on Jan. 29th, the Friday before the festival led by John Barresi, captain of iQuad. The clinic will be limited to 16 registrants.
THIS JUST IN: There will be an indoor fly Friday evening too. First time for this event at the SPI Kite Fest!!!
