Description

I flew this kite only four times and decided I didn’t have the motivation to master flying an advanced quad line kite, so there are no visible signs of wear, no damage, no dirt. It is the standard sail model, the extra frame included is a Super Ultra Light 2 wrap. I'm not showing the kite unwrapped because I can't remember how to assemble and reassemble it. (A knowledgeable kite person did it for me when I first got it.)

Extras included are Laser Pro Gold 90# x 75' line set, Revolution Quad handles 13" with pro leaders,  12” kite ground stake, 2 prism winders, bag.

(I have a 100% rating on eBay under the name Jerome2800. I will ship this to CONUS via priority mail for $20. Payment only by PayPal.

The New York Minute from Revolution Kites is the highest performance Revolution kite ever produced.   As with all Revolution kites, the New York Minute is built right here in the U.S.A. with the highest quality materials including Ripstop Polyester Icarex sails and each one comes framed with Revolutions Highest Performing "Green Race Frame".   The New York Minute is produced with features that were only available on custom PRO models such as folded and stitched leading edge ends to eliminate fraying and excessive leading edge wear, extra stitching & finishing along the wings and trailing edge for increased performance and smoother hovering, and increased panel layouts for less deformation of the sail over time (stretching).   The triple vertical panel layout also increases sail loading and wind "channeling" over any other Revolution model.

Recommended Questions

Perhaps some pictures have been mixed up, but I do not believe the kite in your picture is of a Revolution New York Minute.  Well not the blue kite pictured in the post.  That is a 2 line framed kite and not a quad. Do you have a better picture?  A quad is very easy to wrap back up.

I am curios as to what kind of a kite it actually is?  The little wrap on it is a "Into The Wind" strap.

Thanks,

Lon

Yes, as it turns out, I did post a picture of the wrong kite. The kite pictured is the Kymera by Barresi Dual Line Stunt Kite in Blue, never flown, which I'm also interested in selling for $180.I'm terribly unmechanical and I'm afraid that if I unpack the NYM kite, I'll never get it back in its sheath. Here is the picture I should have posted. The picture of the kite in flight was taken from a commercial site, but that's the color of my kite.

Without seeing both the condition and the color (of the correct kite) it may be a difficult sell.

Working with the kite shouldn't be too difficult and if you're worried, get a helper. Carefully slide it from the sheath, unroll it, then unfold it. Take note of how it was rolled and folded. Often the spars are placed in at the top before rolling.  After taking good, detailed photos (particularly of all the seams) fold the kite back in thirds so the lines are on the inside, place the spars back on the top, and fold/roll it back into a bundle but not too tightly. Sometimes it helps to have a helper hold the far edge as you roll it back up. Then slide it back into the sheath. Here's a good video showing the process.

I am choosing to delete the question that I posted here.  It was not meant to be malicious in any way, but I can see how it could have been taken that way and I apologize berchman if it was taken that way!!

I don't do eBay and was just curious how I might check a sellers rating.

Now back to quad offered up for sale.  The video frob linked is very good at showing how to set up a quad.  I don't think you need to insert/install the spars, but pictures of the quad laid open showing both sides would be very helpful!!

Again, I apologize if my words were taken any other way than to answer my curiosity!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

Lon
