Cracked me up with this line
Flew twice this weekend in good winds. I've got circles down now for sure. I've tried to do the slack line tricks but well I'm not very good at them. I really just like zooming the kite around and doing spirals and stuff. Thank you for all the advice! I'm thinking that I might look into getting a Rev since they appear to do precision and spins well. I see that you are a fan of them. Are they easy to pick up and fly or is the learning curve greater than a dual line?
We've been practicing our stalls and had fair success at the edge of the wind window. We can even slide roughly 10', but as we get closer to the center of the wind window forward flight takes over and we lose the stall slide. We've been doing this in 10-12 mph wind. I'm curious is this to be expected (at that wind level) or is it just my skill are still sub-Jedi? I don't mind working on my skill level, but wanted to make sure this wasn't an exercise in futility at that level of wind.
Looking to release with a minimum of standard, mid and vented - two more tiers of venting planned as well.
That being said - I flew my standard prototype today in up to 13mph with a P100 frame if you can believe that, while the Djinn’s power is still intact, the “runaway” pull and speed is muted by the bridle... Everyone else was on mids and full vents, I expect this characteristic to carry up through the vented models too so it’s quite possible that a Djinn full vent may be as manageable as an xtra vent flown in it’s wind range.
