  1. FYI, there were TWO blog entries in all of 2011, looks like just TWO for all of 2010 as well. I'll leave this up for debate over the next couple of weeks, then we'll send out a notice via the forum bulk email system.
  2. Hi guys, just working the site over as usual and trimming the fat where I can... The forum blog system is probably the most under-used part of the Kitelife web site, and I think we're going to let it go. With so many other options available, it just doesn't make sense for us to keep paying license fees for it. Other options: - Rev forum blogs (used far more than ours) - General forum postings - Facebook pages Any major objections?
  3. Hehehehehe, just wanted to spank the Bear a bit, it's good fun! Revs, we have.
  4. Alright, got it - no more B-Series.
  5. I started on Rosetta Stone Japanese level 1 tonight... Averaging 85%-100% so far, but MAN my head is full (attama pom pom)! :/

  6. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. B-Series Mid-Vent (package), roughly a $350 value! NOTE: Primary color of the kite in this drawing is PURPLE and BLACK with BLACK CENTER, on a MID-VENT SAIL. This package includes kite, 3 wrap and 4 wrap frames, 85'x90# Laserpro lines, adjustable handles, DVD, weight kit and kite sleeve! This is regular (factory) model, it is not a Pro by Bazzer, but will still provide excellent flying for whoever wins this. You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/306, and will be drawn on December 5th, 2011! Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!
  7. Alright, so it's 1:17am PST... I'm still in the work seat. Let's get us a winner! Our lucky number... 3... 3... 3... Indeed, lucky #333 is the winner - Jeryll Autore is taking home a brand new Kymera! Congratulations Jeryll, and thanks to all for playing... I'll do my best to get a new prize lined up for you today.
  8. Here are a couple of topics that particularly fit to your questions here...
  9. Hi Shell, welcome to the forum! You're always welcome to ask questions here, but from time to time, someone will provide reference to a better source for info... In this case, there is a specific area of the Rev forum which covers all of your questions (and then some) in delicious detail. http://www.revkites.com/forum/forum/27-buying-your-first-rev/ Rest easy, the information there is user-derived... Purely flier to flier feedback and support, with occasional comments from Rev staff. If you don't find what you need, you'll definitely know more and be able to make specific inquiries.
  10. The Kitelife office is PST, drawings are always by that time zone... However, whether or not I'll be in the work seat at midnight is another question. Worst case, we'll draw sometime tomorrow morning (PST). Good luck to all!
  11. Question to those who were at the Oceanic bar on Sat night at AKAGN in Wildwood and watching the Dennis band perform... Who was on drums? I was in poor shape at that point and can't recall, any help would be appreciated. :)

  12. Well since TK's subscription lapsed a couple years ago, it's my only shot.
  13. Come on triple-zero!!! Go, go, go, 0-0-0!
  14. Nice work Wyatt, beautiful.
  15. I'll need a replacement at some point, given the rate I've been flying mine... Plus it would save on shipping! ... Nah. Hollow threats just aren't the same.
  16. 000! No, I don't really have my own number... But you all have so much fun with this, I want to play too. *pout* Keep it going!

  18. Hi, I started a very active discussion on the AKA members forum... http://aka.kite.org/kite-talk-forum/topic?id=771 I'd love to hear your thoughts on all this if you have a chance to look it over. Note, you must be a current AKA member (and be logged in) to access the link above.
  19. I'm working on this with Ben via email.
  20. Just created a Facebook page for the Kymera too, if anyone is keen. http://www.facebook.com/jbkymera
  21. Ben and I are working on this issue via email.
  22. If anyone has or does receive a friend request from "David Gom from New York" please be advised, it's a Chinese copy kite seller trying to capitalize on Mr. Gomberg's name.

  23. I'm not the leader, I'm just stand up front. But yes, you got spanked, with love. <grin>
  24. Had a GREAT time this past weekend in Lincoln City... Right alongside the Rev group, there were three Kymeras set up and flying regularly. Spence Watson, Wen Jeng, Jeremy Franklin and I had a good time buzzing the quad heads - oh wait, three of us ARE quad heads!
  25. Great to see everyone in LC, nice especially to see you more and more often Jeremy... Dual or quad, welcome anytime!
