  1. No worries, long as everyone is sorted out.
  2. Aye, second that... Indoor Rev is *very* flexible, and doesn't do so well in gusts.
  3. Wow, beautiful stack Joe, that's gorgeous.
  4. Bill you're lucky #886... Alas, the numbers aren't generated automatically by the forum so they're on my master list.
  5. Sorry to say Bill, Cutting Edge has indeed closed their doors after many good years of service and community support.
  6. In my experience, shorter lines are actually LESS likely to break (less length to stretch and give)... I'd suspect the line strength/rating. Do you have any idea what pound-test you broke?
  7. That is a GORGEOUS kite Gustavo.
  8. Jay, you're lucky #889.
  9. I much prefer straps to handles, for 21 years now... Helps to get comfortable ones, of course.
  10. @kitemail is totally separate from @kitelife, the first was a FREE email service to the public, the second (connor@) is an email address I set up just for Connor. I don't think you guys have anything @kitemail.com, just the Kitelife account, right?
  11. Whatever works for you Pete, it's all good... No need to let it end on our account, only if you have no further need.
  12. Welcome kruski, you're in the drawings just by subscribing. Good luck sir, and thanks!
  13. I know some of you have been waiting anxiously for news on what will be happening with KiteMail, and here it is... Please read ALL of the following VERY thoroughly. Starting now, NEW email addresses can only be created with "Mail Plus" (paid) accounts... No new, free accounts are available. All existing accounts (FREE or PAID) will remain intact, these accounts will NOT be deleted, WITH THE FOLLOWING EXCEPTION (see item 3). On August 15th, we will be purging (DELETING) all accounts that have not logged in during the preceding 90 days... Once accounts are purged, there is no recovery possible. == So simply, if you have a KiteMail account and want to keep it, LOG IN to your account sometime between now and August 14th in order to keep it active. Login URL - http://readmail.kitemail.com/ Regardless, we STRONGLY recommend you copy any important (saved) emails to hard copy or another email address just so you have back up... We don't expect any problems when we do the purge, but we cannot guarantee anything and it's better to be safe than sorry. Thank you for your understanding and patience!
  14. The fate of KITEMAIL has been decided, read on...

  15. Two extra numbers each for RAZOR (from Guru) and TusconBill (from Baloo). Got it.
  16. I use 12'-15', 50#.
  17. I'm also a fan of 50# on Rev II or B2... No line drag to speak of, the kite is unencumbered... Will take a decent amount of wind before there's danger of line breakage. My favorite length on the B2 is 90 ft, short enough to be responsive, long enough to cover some sky.
  18. Can't wait to see the result.
  19. Oh cool, hi Stuart, welcome to the forum! See you in Singapore very soon, eh? <GRIN>
  20. Here is nose repair stuff from one of our members here... May not be the "end all" method, but it's a place to start.
  21. It's probably Mark Ervin... Subscriber #5, signed up Oct 16, 2003, still on the same original PayPal subscription. The next highest, active number is #24
  22. You can also communicate with your local Rev dealer, they should be able to arrange custom orders on your behalf. Supporting the shops is always a good way to go. On the original topic... The Zen isn't an ideal indoor kite... Not built for it... Possible, but you really have to hustle, and it takes some skill to rotate the kite without clipping the ground due to the 9' wingspan... Indoor Rev is far, FAR easier.
  23. BTW, warmest welcome to Bill and Razor.
  24. You're right kjm, all I can do is apologize... While it's not mean-spirited, you are right. Offending posts obliterated. I'm a dumb human like anyone else, such feedback is always received with open ears. I hope you'll stick around and help us stay on course.
  25. Here's Brian (Khal) with his new prize. Full post - http://kitelife.com/...-from-kitelife/
