  1. Correct on all counts. Most (but not all) items qualify, whether it's a book or a TV, rubber bands or a whole living room furniture set... Enter through that link, and all your Amazon purchases during that visit will potentially kick a few pennies over to KL. Thanks Pete.
  2. Search away, all sales through this link earns a small percentage for Kitelife. <iframe src="http://rcm.amazon.com/e/cm?t=kitelifemagaz-20&o=1&p=26&l=ur1&category=books&banner=0GDEZK2MM2XGCEH7M202&f=ifr" border="0" marginwidth="0" style="border: medium none;" frameborder="0" height="60" width="468" scrolling="no"></iframe> <noscript>Amazon.com Widgets</noscript>
  3. Sorry for the delay on this, been in L.A. all weekend, just getting caught up now. I haven't been able to recreate this problem at all, every image is coming up for me... Can someone with the ability post: 1. Link to one of the pages with this problem. 2. A screenshot of the page with the missing image. Without direct reference, and without being able to recreate the issue, there's no way for tech support to know where they should look. Wanna fix it, just need the tools.
  4. FYI - Folks can also donate by mailing a check to Box 1614, Walla Walla WA 99362. Make checks out to the AKA and note they are for the Japan Kitefliers Fund.
  5. TK's family is a-ok, thanks go out to all who sent messages and emails.

  6. Screen shots help too, if you're able.
  7. Can you guys give me specific links to some pages that aren't working for you, and detail the problem(s) as specifically as possible? I'll take that info and have the forum guys take a look.
  8. Just taking a poll... What are your favorite kite books (flying or building), and why?
  9. Tur-duck-hen-robin, 'nuff said.
  10. Very fun! Be sure and post some snowkiting stuff next time you have wind, I know our members would love to see it.
  11. Check it out - http://kitelife.com/forum/gallery/ Slightly new layout, but way more functional and sensible once you re-acclimate.
  12. I use Firefox for most of my web browsing, Chrome plays second fiddle with Hulu in my 2nd monitor and with YouTube uploads so my main browser doesn't get bogged down. 100% Mac these days.
  13. We typically have one person take care of making all the team line sets, generally either Steve or Bazzer, or both together. This way, it's always standardized. However, our line lengths still vary up to 3 feet between at times, we just try to put the longer sets on the leading kites.
  14. Don't forget about the additional video tutorials you can download now as well. http://kitelife.com/forum/files/category/106-quad-line/
  15. Happy birthday Carolyn.
  16. Here's the video that Pete is referring to. (I'm pretty sure)
  17. My pleasure, and *please* share your review of any videos you purchase... It would very useful info for our other members.
  18. Yeah, me too. LOL
  19. Yes sir, it surely was... Our first bulk email yesterday (notifying folks of the National Kite Month prizes) tripped a red flag on our server, took a little while to identify the problem. We've since raised our hourly limits, and all is well.
  20. Guy, I know there are a few different DVDs and VHS tapes available for dual line, but I've not studied any of them myself so I can't comment. - Catch the Magic by HQ - Prism Freestyle Pilot How To - Dodd Gross Flight School There may be some others too, that our fellow forum members can suggest?
  21. Good to have you on board Mike, thanks for your support.
  22. Duane - I'm working on some way for me to enter the number is such a way that it's attached to the associated subscription in your forum account, it's tricky on this end. In the meantime, your new one is lucky 837, your old one is 476 - and yes - you're in twice for prize drawings. Also, if you do win one, while that sub# takes a month off, your other (non-winning) number stays active for the next drawing. Thanks mate!
  23. Just confirmed, this is a complete STD package, comes with 2 leading edges (3wrap and SLE), line set, handles, sleeve and DVD).
  24. Hey John, Am I reading this right, there are two (2) drawings in April, and both for Revs............that's not half bad, in fact, that's great ! Say it's true, John, say it's true ! It's true John, say it's true ! Joking aside, yes, 2 prizes.
