  1. Look at the second video above ... JB using the Blast like a "motor" to pull his kite buggy or look at this racing parafoil power kite to reach top speed on kite buggy ... ... now that is a big motor (mixed with very high wind and racing power kite) !!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PJngbNv2mNY sometime we called it "THE BEAST"
  2. Since I have the oZone 3m power parafoil kite and rev 1 and B ... and I just got Blast 2-4 few days ago ... and on Dec 23, 2015 ...I just flew it at between 18 - 34.2 mph with an average 23mph of yo-yo gust wind ... Blast is easier to control than parafoil, once you know how to control it smart and balancing the handles as well as you know how to use Revolution kites (if you have one) ... you can deplete this Blast 2-4 easily and much easier than depleting the power of a 3m+ parafoil kite ... I tried to recording myself flying the Blast and my camera and tripod keep knocking down, because the wind is so STRONG ... I will bring the sand bag for my tripod ... LOL p.s. I flew my Blast twice at 10 mph avg, before 23mph ... very stable, so graceful, yet powerful if you use happy trigger (full throtter) p.s.s. I am not saying you should get it ... I just told you my experience on those kites. p.s.s.s. if you want to jump around like a trampoline and it's unbreakable, then get parafoil ... if you want just control the beast and no desire to jump around, then get the Blast 2-4 ... you can even fly this beast at like 5 mph (plus few walking backward) This is my oZone 3m Little Devil ... about a month ago Here is a couple video online I found Blast 2-4 at youtube
  3. Maybe you can meet them ... http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/6813-anyone-flying-about-in-dorset/#comment-55111

  5. Symphony Beach 1.3m Kite HQ Symphony Beach III 2.2 Whenever you get ready to go bigger 4 lines with handles power kite ... ... this video got excellent instructions
  6. Well, Do you want 2 lines or 4 lines power kite ? 2 lines does a lot of looping tricks (that's my opinion) (usually with control bar or wrist straps) 4 lines gives more control on the power kite ... basically pulling power and can do a lot of tricks, I started off with 3m oZone Little Devil Power Kite this Spring 2015 ... My power kite is a 4 lines with 2 handles training parafoil type kite (lots of fun, even my mother flies it) and can used in high wind like 15+mph jumping around, but not floating in the air until you hit like 40+mph which I have not ... yet. If you asked me ... I go for 4 lines power kite like a parafoil kite (which is extremely difficult to break) I got my power kite first, even before I knew about the Revolution kite and now I owned 3 Revolution Kites : Rev 1, Revolution 1.5B (B-Series) and just got the Revolution Power Blast 2-4 yesterday. I would say either get RTF (ready to fly) Revolution 1.5 (regular) or 4 lines with 2 handles power kite (not control bar type) Control bar power kite is not the same as Revolution kites at all. Don't take my words seriously, because there are other better kite flyers than me ... ... So, wait for them to reply ... Good luck. I just upload this video just a moment ago from 2 weeks ago flying my power parafoil kite with a caution tape tail I added to it Enjoy. http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/6819-3m-ozone-4-lines-little-devil-in-the-dusks-beautiful-blue-sky/
  7. Just mute the wind noise 3m oZone 4 lines Little Devil in the dusk's beautiful blue sky (around 10-15 mph)
  8. Already done that overhead flying and all the way to side floating like a light wind flying at 14mph ... I still have all that under control (no fall out yet) ... of course, some good pulling ... I just don't like to re-adjusting my grips to regain the brake and also that make my kite go crazy like a wild bull rodeo violently without hitting the walls, due uneven gripping ... in another word ... kite rodeo voilently without hitting grass, WHEW !!! ... ok, ok, ok ... just few inverted poke in the grass with full brakes on (did not slam it or hit it hard) ... whew !!! ... trust me ... I am going to master this BEAST as much I can on Rev1.5b ... I am not even half way to precise all tricks yet on all 3 Rev Kites (more like 15% completed) ... hopefully 18% completely, before Sunday ... Blast2-4 is so much easier to control than Rev1.5b, because of slower steering (responsive ?) while Rev1 is about between Blast2-4 and Rev1.5b ... I will need to make flash cards (like JB said "practice trick before routine", something like it) to perform single or combination tricks to complete (checkmark, done, next one, please) If you ever coming across in KY, be sure you bring the PB4-8
  9. I used this on my power kite ... it's great ... yeah, not attractive and there could be a murder scene in the air, way up there.
  10. DANG !!! ... MOVED FASSSSSSSSSSST !!!!! ... OOOOOOOH ... I like that figure 8 crossing !!! ... now, that is the BEST "Team flying" video !!!!!!!!!!!
  11. Flew it 2 more hours on the "Beast" at 32F ... I learned that this beast's handles' knots lines does not need to be adjustment or modified ... so I leave it alone like it is ... I guess, I need more practice how to adjusting the handles quickly and often when wind changes and depending on the flight power and braking as well ... I love this "Beast" !!! Then another hour on Mid-Vent B-Series on 120' 90lbs ... ahhhh, so much better than 80' 90lbs ... so far, so good
  12. Love that black/orange colors !!!
  13. I bought the Revolution Power Blast 2-4 from applewpb ... Excellent seller and gave true description on the kite ... Thank you. I absolutely love it ... The "Beast" is way better than Rev 1 (in my humble opinion) and it's just like b-series at 14mph ... flew it at like 4 mph then kicked up to 10mph ... that's nothing to me ... flew it at 30°F for couple hours ... going back out to fly it again after modified my beast handle's knot lines, same way I did with other 2 pair of rev handles's knot lines ... I like the top 2 lines attached right above and next the foam grip ... almost like power kite grips ... because rev handles is like carry 1'x1'x5' box horizontal on both arms with water in it ... water waving back and forth until too much weight on either end to pull it back to center with difficulty ... I modified my handle's knots line to stablize more Going back out will be like 14mph range at 35°F and the Sun should be out in the open more than this morning (it was snow-flaking lightly) ... and I will let you know how it goes again. it's HUGE !!!
  14. Hang on ... let me see if I can find my kitejack for your engine to be lifted ... LOL !!!
  15. well, kite locations online does not have the latest updated locations ... I fly my kites inland in a wide open area with less people, no nearby trees and no power line such as park and recreation (baseball field area is normally open and very FLAT) ... you just need to find a open land with less obstruction like tall trees, buildings that block the wind stream ... flying over mowed grass is best, because tall wheat/grass or farm land cut-down (spikes) crops can hurt the mesh by dragging and don't fly over asphalt or gravels because it can wear out the leading edge bridle of a kite quickly and costs about $12USD to replace yourself ... UK : http://bkfa.org.uk/node/73 ( I see 3 clubs at Dorset ) Poole : http://poolekites.co.uk/surveys/dorset/baiter.htm Poole. 26 acres of grassy park. Excellent for playing frisbee, football and kite flying. http://www.kitemap.org/ http://www.windpowersports.com/guides/kite-flying.php http://kite.org/community/favorite-flying-fields/ http://www.kone.org/Places_to_Fly_Kites.html Just google "kite flying location" I am in Bowling Green, Kentucky, USA ... ... that is where and the only place that makes Corvette (vehicle)
  16. What now ? that Festival Banner Price is ... 129 Euro equals 140.11 US Dollar YIKES !!!
  17. Second house called "Kite Dungeon" ... I like that ... it fits.

NOW THAT I LIKE !!! (thumbs up)
  19. I love the video with extremely gentle movements (not shaking) and the excellent angles, too ... Got more ? what is that waving stripped flag called ? Where can buy one like that ? that is SO cool flag and excellent video ... I just watched it 3 times already
  20. Excellent link ... thanks for extra information.
  21. I like green race frame better over black frame, but that's my opinion, plus I have already broke spare rods that is lower than green race frame ... since I have no more spare rods to use except leading edge ... I already ordered green race frame set for b-series and rev 1 as well ... bending the green race rod ... it is almost unbreakable ... it may not be ideal for super light wind. http://www.revkites.com/forum/topic/4505-new-ultra-race-rods-from-rev/
