Not sure if this helps. I live in Kentucky and flying inland, too (not ocean) at recreational flat parks (best place to fly is the huge flat farm land) ...when I fly mid-vent b-series or Rev 1 ... I am still having a hard time to keep it "freeze" still, because I get 180° multi-directions & 8 mph range yo-yo wind (example 2-10 or 8-16) ... wind is just yo-yo just about nearly every 2 minutes, until a good constant straight wind storm all day long... I simply find mid-vent b-series and full sail rev 1 on 80' #90 at its best at 15-20 mph wind ... I bought the Rev 1 to fly on lower wind like 5 mph on a shorter lines ... change/mixed up the frame do helps ... but I can not see the wind or feel the wind much to give me some hint to keep my Rev 1 afloat alot longer yet ... I need more practice, a LOT more practice ... like one said " experienced pilot can fly the single vent down to about 4 mph" I guess what I am saying is that ... once you know your kite flying experience on different kites ... especially bumpy inland wind ... then you should know which vent you should get, because of your location's wind ... not their location wind. I find that most people flying kites near ocean or on beach, rather than inland ... ... therefore, inland (multi-direction yo-yo wind) vs ocean/beach (one way straight constant wind) Good luck on your NYM choice

Before you post another aerial video without the kite ... hold down the ALT tightly and hit F4 rapidly ... it will advertising like crazy ... works every time. -
I find this documentary interesting, peaceful and beautiful to see "real life" and also sad that TV is taking over the mind and real life ... ... it seems that there *is* more to life than technology ... I find that ... that is true and as long as it is educating in a positive way.

looks like from this video ... Huntington Beach, California ... since it's kiteconnection.com

just increase your exposure in your camera's setting if there's one or using the "firework" scene setting ... downside is that the camera have to be on a tripod or be very still to get a clarity picture. that nylon/skidplate end cap is a great idea and before I saw that ... I was about to order this and see how it goes after change into a longer cord http://www.iballz.info/

maybe you need to clear the cache and then try again ?
-
since travel frame have more furreals (still can't spell it correctly) may cause the kite to be tad heavier than normal/standard version, therefore needs a little stronger wind to make it fly ?
-
Yes, that is better and good details, too ... and try to use edit tool, if anyone have not posted after your post until tomorrow ... we all get pumped as well p.s. I think I understand better now ... you wanted each video per post because of this "like this" ... so you'll know which got the most "like this" ... is that correct ? I apologized ... do what you want ... to me, it seems that you were spamming and I guess, I was wrong, due "like" post per video I really like the "filming from tree" ... I just watched that one twice, cause it is really good ... is that 40' lines ? ... LOL ... I just watched that one again (3rd time) ... very very nice at 1:01 (youtube time) ... and the last half of the video is single handed flying, cause your left arm looks tired ... LOL !!!
-
can you not put all last 3 videos into one post ? filming from tree is the best one because of video's stillness ... thanks for being still this time
-
Now that makes sense clearly !!! ... thanks for all those info & tips, but that doesn't mean it ends now ...

Is there a comprehensive "KITE" dictionary online ?
DeafThunder replied to DeafThunder's topic in Beginners
I like this trick "Insane" ... how I like it when it looks like a crash and burn spinning toward to ground then TAKE OFF toward to the SKY ... that is really cool !!! ... and love the step by step precisely and freeze picture to grasp the idea each movement ... Well done, Randy Greenway ... I am sure it is easier to explain the tutorial on a dual line than on a quad line ... I love quad line, because I love difficulty challenges !!! I love that JB's Bicycle Traveling in a circle or stairway line ... it will takes me DAYS to master it, maybe couple month top to get it right ... I got couple very short bicycle traveling by accident, but I did not pay attention "how to do that" !!! (facepalm) ... LOL -
It looks very clean and nice.

take a moment to read this ... http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/6747-travel-frame-kite-consolidation/#comment-54510 I have a regular Revolution 1 and Revolution B-Series ... my 2 tote is 36" and 40"x1"x2" thick in a 40"x4"x4" shipping box for extra protection ... I may order me a autocad drawing paper tube for my kites ... I don't have a problem carry it around as long as I have tote ... not sure about airport part

there is a picture of a like a plywood or some wood that wedged folded line and sewing over it straighter ... and I got the heat shrink tubes ... umm ... umm ... heat may reduce the strength of the line like a candle wax I am still looking for that image ... I could not find it ... the folded & sleeved line is wedged between wood like a canal then sewing it up straight JUST FOUND IT http://www.instructables.com/id/Sew-a-loop-end-on-a-line/?ALLSTEPS

I figured that ... because I think I have #200 power kite 4-line which is not too thick, more like 2 or 3 times thicker than LaserPro #90 I have the d-splicer ... it works great with sleeving ... but dang ... laserpro ? ... almost impossible ... I need like a surgical micro d-slicer to make it happens. is it possible to do SEWING sleeving LaserPro ? ... Just asking ... found the tutorial video, but it said I have to sew THROUGH the lines ... will that weakening the lines breakage ?

Depends on your computer ... my computer barely able to watch 1080p 60f ... but 720p 60f is still AWESOME to watch ... of course, not lot of people have "money" ... I love to watch kite on this clarity and stillness video ... JB's tutorial videos are brilliant ... sometime I wanted to yell others "STOP MOVING SO MUCH" ... or ... "is the rabid tiger chasing you while flying kite" ? Be still and allow us to see more as a whole picture and clarity is a good advice ... especially with kite and hands-work (may required to have 2 camcorder, but not neccessary) ... Try not to do zoom in and out or way too close like Mr. Bean did Be still and grab big picture of kite and hands as much you can Thanks. Most likely you will get alot more "excellent" feedback. Of course, no one's perfect, but it is a good advice and it helps.

In those videos I mentioned ... Do you know what kind of lines are those and it's strength (lbs) ? ... and is it made for kite-surfing kite or power kite ? ... Prism (dual line) ?

my eyes ... MY EYES !!! ... nice "attention grabber" banner

Where's the kite ? -
Like a wind or vented (advertisement) banner on a fence

^^^ that is smart, but is there a slightly flaw ? ... sewing can cut the mesh with needles ? ... maybe hand sewing is the best option because carefully sewing through holes of the mesh, instead of accident cut the mesh ? we all learn something new everyday ...

and no more snagging around the knots ... it is about the same amount of snagging with basic handles (not snagless handles) ... I have experienced it BOTH ... I find more trouble on the double knotted sleeve line than I do with basic handles and also like the idea of long extension cord on the handles for extra adjustment, but there is a slightly flaw that unused extension (extended/extra knots) cord can get wrapped around or get snagged with another line ... I was think of how can I make this unused extension (extended/extra knots) cord straight line along the line like what Wayne said "Clean and Neat" ... like a rubber band or something to attach to the line kinda like sleeving the extension (extended/extra knots) cord and that sounds very nice and possibly and nearly 100% snagfree from the sleeve line, with snagless handles and snagless extension (extended/extra knots) cord. [sorry that my grammer isn't good, so ask if you don't understand]
