It looks like it could be part of a Kevlar wrap like on the green race rods (tubes). I can't depect from the picture if the green is part of the tube or part of the label. But in either case there is a difference between the 2, one has green the other doesn't. Nothing to stop placing an order over.
the green is only showing next to the label on either side ... both rods are BLACK ... click on the image to enlarge and notice the bottom rod is partly green on either side of that label (3 feathers, 3 wrap, ultra light) ...
... why is there partly green just alittle bit there and there, but not covering up entirely rod ?
That is what I am wondering about.
HA ! (sarcastic), half 3 wrap rod and half green racing rod ?
well, more like 9/10th 3 wrap rod and 1/10th green racing rod ...
^^^ sorry, that was silly ...

The issue is that the handles in the first image is Rev B handles, but acting like it's for Rev 1 and the other handles (in 4th image) is Rev 1 handles, but acting like for Rev Blast 2-4 ... I just need to make my "lag screw eyelet" even up at where the holes on the handles ... with lag screw eyelet made the handles too long ... I feel like i am flying a kite with yardstick handles (laughing).
Oh, I understand now that the handles are NOT called "the leader", so, leader is the strings attached to handles ... thanks for correcting me ... I don't have a problem with it at the moment (still testing) and what you saying is what makatakam showed me this image at my gallery's comment ... thanks for the tips ... anything else ?

sorry ... bump ... I would like to know ... before I submit my orders.

I just tried them today ... guess what I did try to snag it alot ... not once got snagged ...
... SUCCEED and quite impressed with it !!!
Now I understand what you saying about handles are too long or somewhat imbalance pulling ... I will cut the handles like it used to be ... Thanks !!!

have someone to drive golf cart with reversed back seat ... I am planning to fly Rev B and capture on video soon on a zero wind day and outside of this forest property
Don't even think about trying on motorcycle
What about flying with power kite ? (laughing)

I really like the programming setup ... I am not a fan of "TOP" 3rd person view videos ... except over the water which is more suitable for it ... I wonder how well airdog or drone flying ability at 1 foot above the ground and following a skateboarder like 3 feet behind right side of me ? ... can drone avoiding any things like trash cans, trees, people, dogs, traffic, cars in the path of where I am going at ? ... swinging baseball bat is out of the question (laughing) maybe chasing the baseball or golfball (laughing) at 120mph ... now that is a good question and probably already done it with several flaws

that is cool and it will be very cool if it has closed captions (English subtitles)

The kite was lost for good, I sprinted after it, and probably covered over 1/2 mile before I gave up on it.
Sorry that you lost that kite for good ...
... I have to admitted that I laughed so hard on this part ... sprinted over 1/2 miles ...
Was your legs are FIRE ? (laughing)
You really got lucky to keep the GoPro

Oh, some kind of power sled kite ... I am not familiar with it ... sorry that I got the wrong idea/kite ...
... Since Rob has/had one Power Sled 24 or someone may experience similar power sled kite like your " hg1027's New Tech parafoil 5" will probably have the best answers
I have seen it on video, but not smaller ... but this one IS green HULK strong ...
to be safe ... get 200 lbs lines ... I don't know how is the strength/quality on that material ... like one said ... it can snapped or blow out ... Rhombus Anum 7.2m is a strong and cheap power kite, but I know that quality won't last very long, because the air ducts are fraying.
If I have been aggressive flying/jumping it constantly ... I could hurt myself in it if it breaks like your kite hurt could break your expensive camera ... you just need to test your parafoil 5 with very cheap something (a large rock) attached to your kite that is triple heavy as your camera and test fly it ... did it passed for how long at what wind speed and the whole nine yard ? ... test it and do some experience on it
or better yet ... buy a cheap action camera
p.s. I don't know how I missed the first 2 comments ... I thought this was hyzakite's topic and turned out to be hg1027's topic ... SORRY !!! (laughing)

I would love to have 2 (two) of this https://shop.soloshot.com/ as a gift ... you can attach the transmitter to kite and on yourself and both cameras will follow ... I really like that ... ... imagine it ... in Picture in Picture
p.s. it can zoom in or out if transmitter is too far away or too close up
I really like this Contour Roam Action Camera
I would choose Contour Roam 1 HD or Roam 3 ... because great quality and affordable (only like 15 dollars difference) ... Roam 1 HD is hard to find ... so, better off to get Roam 3

Let us know how you doing with those kites so far
-
Rob, did you ever got that Power Sled 24 found or returned ?
Hyzakite, question : what kind of parafoil 5 are you referring to ?
GammoRay is correct
I fly power kites (inland, no buggy yet) ... you do need more than #300 lines ... I weight 180lbs and my Rhombus Anum 7.2m did pick me up and carrying me here and there at 12mph+ and Ozone 3m at 22+mph ... I got very lucky that I wasn't in the air when my handles's leader lines broke twice (each handle, one that day and other another day) ... I replaced it with true 550 paracord and do check lines/handles once a month
if I ever planning to stay in the air longer than 15 seconds ... I will definitely need #500 lines or more to ensure it won't drop me free falling and double the strength on the handle's leader lines
No, I don't use control/turbo bar (not made for these 2 kites I have) ... I use 2 handles

Basically the same as the difference between a spoon and a fork. The one designed for liquids works better than the one for solids, and vice versa.
I like that idea of understanding better

sometime Longer Polyester (stretchy) lines is too stretchy to swerve (too slow) away from ground or asphalt (crash/break)
-
I thought about it (laughing) ... just not ready for it at this time

Congrats !!!

I figured it's the same ... because I bend it alittle ... same result ... unlikely like the green racing frame ... I had to make sure, so I asked ... thanks for the answers
