  1. best method to do what? carbon no snag are usually coming with indoor Rev's and are having the leaders from a single piece of 100# line through inside in between 2 plastic washers kept in place by knots. for modification to no snag and better leaders just use some nylon bolts. Indoor carbon handles are almost straight, just a really wide angle comparative with any regular Rev handles
  2. hello, is coming with lines ? if yes what lines and dimensions.Thank you
  3. 1000 Lbs or more. strong anchor may be made from a 2 Inch galvanized pipe and grounded at 1 1/2 feet deep angled in counter of the wind. depending of locations you may use a three or if you have a towing hitch an your car. do not count on light winds, at 49 fits long the head is around 8 fits in wind with huge lift power.if the wind is low is fine but at 200-250 fits high may be a different story. use the strongest line all the time to avoid accidents even on apparently low winds and make the anchor count. after line the anchor is second important thing. last year i break a 250 lbs line with a 3 m sled and i lost the kite and 2 35' spinner tails in Michigan lake
  4. 8 inches stretch on beamer lines? beamars come with 250-300 lbs lines and V-power pack 400 lbs. at 93 lbs what you declared to have is practically impossible that to happen. even with line lose the gust initial shock can not be bigger then 200 lbs and have the chance to type on the keyboard now. if you had a belt and that happens on your buggy and broke your ribs next event with something bigger then 2 m may be the last. on your case all the time with any kite use handles is mi recommendation. better lose a kite then your life or worst.
  5. IMO at 95 lbs 2 meters is to big for you kevmort just to be sefty, if you do not use wheels of any kind and do not weight at least 150 lbs for static fly never go bigger then 3m. go 5m if you are really skilled and wind is constant around 4 with no gusts. even with a 3 meters on to a wind of 7 mph will be plenty high jumps and crazy pulling but again this is mi opinion based on personal experience with prism foils and beamers
  6. i am not a dual line flier but what you have there i think is a medium to high wind kite and the knots from the bridle seams to change the rigidity of the wing making the kite more or less(faster or slower) to react at inputs you give
  7. you speak about Ferrari, right ?
  8. i fix this problem to all mi rev's adding and sewing ripstop tape on the tabs going till to the sail solving on this way future rips on the mesh
  9. if you try to find diamond kites is one option,The Dyna kites. usually they come and are flayed on stacks of minimum 3
  10. Merry Christmas to all !
  11. inner is just to do not collapse the shape when the shrinking tape is create the pressure . for that Exult is say to be moved till the glue is start to hardening
  12. like always you have some of the best solutions
  13. you are right about monitored also a crack dose not means exchange. if you take the rupture points of a crack you will have an almost perfect surface (holes at the ends of crack and cold to medium material for fill up). Is a good method not just on airplanes, is applied to glass sheets, chassis of the heavy equipment and submarines
  14. take it slow, be calm and relaxed. do not make suddenly moments. learn to launch and land first to avoid crashes and you will be good. you will be amaze how fast you will evolve after you will stop accidentally crashing
  15. YMO EXULT solution is good just if you are at to a festival between to days of show or you are on the move and make the repair because you do not have spare parts. by mi experience you will have 98% chances to break the rod on the proximity of repair simply just because you lost the flexibility and that is creating a high pressure point
  16. this is the Red /White 2-4 i ask you if is to small
  17. TK is the wife of JB. best leaders ever Now you come home. SALT is the biggest enemy of lines and sails, every time after you fly on salty environment is good to use fresh water to wash lines and sail. salt is eating the sewing threads and buildups are creating frictions points and eventually holes in the sail. it may seams a time consuming activity but is preserving the lines and sails to last longer and be on the best condition for fly
  18. fresh water is just fine for lines and sails. any lube may create a layer of grease what in time may collect more then you expect. I hope the leaders are JB ones ore close to. Especially for new flyers leaders are important to understand and find that sweet spot for lines setup depending by the fly stile
  19. hi and welcome to the dark side. handles are a personal option selected by testing, fly stile and "feeling"(i like 15" for all Rev's). if is aluminium on front of stainless is just 4-5 grams difference. finish color is also a taste option. the best upgrade actually are the leaders Skybond are the best and i prefer them on front of Laser and any others. i go 8-10 twists easy,i am surprise to here at 5 already are binding and is not normal. it may happen if they are dirty but for me never happened.
  20. if you do not fly in reverse means the bottom lines are to long, come one knot close to handle and try again. repeat this step till you will have lift. Is common for new fliers to have the top lines to much in and to less breaks
