Glad to hear Lolly helped you out with a swap. Of course, you know that the B-series will NOT make it easier to learn to fly a quad-line kite, and will increase the tendency for the kite to fall out of the sky at the edge of the window in gusty and shifting wind, so stay away from the edges until can make both up-turns and down-turns quickly. The flatter a sail is the more easily it can slide. Other than that just have fun on your quad journey. Talk to and fly with the experienced pilots in your area. Drive over to where LeMasters and the bunch he hangs out with fly, and shake them down for everything they know. Try their set-ups. If you don't ask to try them they will probably force you to anyway. After a couple of sessions with that group you'll be semi-pro in a hurry.
Have fun, smile and don't forget to breathe -- 'cause that's what it's all about anyway.
And the drama? What drama? We're here to help, and we love to do it! You'll get our opinions whether you want them or not, and we will all only agree on one thing -- JUST DO IT!
mark is right, i take the first lesson with him and i loved the handles setup, couple of experienced fliers disagree with that but i feel control the kite best.
i have a rev reflex and is fun but for me just if, remember for me, if the wind is at least 3 MPH and that because i am still new on quads and second i am not aggressive on movements. i like the kite to flow and reflex is do that great after you have some experience with standard sails at the edge of window.
good luck with that B-series and have fun

i understand you must to invert the handles ,left to right and right to left

everything is possible if you use your brain to find a solution. may be not the best one but if you try for sure you will find one what will work good enough

i had the same problem.
i undo all the knots and take of the leader witch is long and good. From hardware store i buy 4 round shape head bolts(hexagonal key) i tide them on the head of handles with a lair of superglue or epoxy, drill them to make the leader to go in and after 24 hours when the glue is cured i cut the original leaders and custom made new knots. from one original leader is enough to make top and bottom for a handle. i used the original rubber caps to cover the heads of the bolts and on top of handles i make winder of rope for better grip and voila good and easy fix

soon i will change the springs on mine with some a bit stiffer and i will sleeve them with some electrical tube. the tube will be a bit bigger then the spring and the frictions will be between spring and sleeve not to the spar.now i already have some damage to spars and i am not happy about at all

i like Reflex better on 3 to 7 mph winds when is relay floating without you to be forced to give any hard input to the kite but that is just mi probably

ok boys and girls a trade seams to not be interesting so... in 2 weeks (1 august) i start mi vacation and i will try something maybe crazy but for sure interesting for a 26 years old Rev 1.
i already make some changes and tested to a different Rev 1 bridle and i am happy with.
on this Rev 1 i will try something different and unsuspected ( i think), i will change the bridle with a ultra light one,i will equip the kite with Zen frame and the crazy thing is coming now, i will try to adapt on the vertical roads some carbon tube spacers like the steel springs on the Reflex. I will use some T connectors from Prism kites and i will experiment the best position and length of them for the best...i don't know yet but i am sure faster respond speed and less radial turns. i will let you know about final results.
If somebody want a trade and don't showed the interested yet is a chance till 1 august after that will be a different "animal" for sure
Thank you

i tried to see how Rev1 is acting with springs like Reflex and is doing exactly ta same only differences remain the slow react and great grace on movement so...i go further with the risk of destroy the sail. Now i have a Rev 1 75% vented and the test was made on September 1 around 6 PM on Prat beach Chicago hawing 16 to 20 MPH estimated wind from N-NE and is flying great.
