  1. Well, today i went flying with my Rev1.5 SLE...Winds were around 10-15 mph with temperature at 34 degrees..flew about an hour until winds started to get erratic.. decided to pack it in...suddonly a super gust came up..caught me off guard and down came the Rev1.5 right on top of a fence...Now here is the strange weird result...The SLE wedged itself horizonally between the wire fencing, bracing and crossbar...It snapped the SLE about 4" from end.. However, the bright side is No Damage to Sail !!...How the sail escaped from being ripped was a stroke of luck...End of Story..But i do have a question.. my question is concerning repair..should i replace with another SLE or with a standard leading edge?.. i Do have another Rev1.5 SLE... Kram...btw, i was in a groove today with Rev.1.5...all was going so well...kinda reminds me of Caddy Shack when the Golfer had the best day golfing in his life until he was struck by lightning....One of my all time favorite movies.

  8. Just to give everybody fair warning, i'm now a REV 1.5 SLE owner & pilot (loosley stated)...This quad head forum finally convinced me to make the purchasing move...I blame it all on Penny, monkey, dorsal, revflier, cltkiter, and most of all John Barresi for those dawg-gad fabulous quad videos...making me to believe "i can do that"...Well, today i flew it in 8-12mph steady winds...so much to learn...so much to learn...but i luv it! kram...kitelife subscriber #5

    air-yo

i really like the Air-yo's...I suggest taking your time on developing your skill level...Once you learn the basics and get the "feel" of the Air-Yo, crashes and other mishaps will be less likely...If you haven't done so already, the best & easiast way to assemble the Air-Yo is by using clothes pins... 16. Fantastic Videos from the AKA 2003 dayton...cudos to the photographer...i was there and saw the indoor competitions...the Huge Hanger at the Wright Patterson Airforce Base (WPAFB) provided an excellent backdrop for all...I can't imagine another facillity that would compare in providing such ambience and excitment for competitors and audience... 22. Well, i would suggest the HQ Phoenix...its a large 87" kite that comes with dvd, wind breaker, 150lb x 80ft lines w/ straps,...also, sail made of ventrex with 6mm carbon frame...and, reinforced spine, yoyo stoppers, add on weights,etc...this kite uses high quality material and fine workmanship ...the kite perfoms precision and tricks well...the best part is the Phoenix can be purchased for as little as $89....A truly outstanding value.
