  1. I may have previously posted something similar to this under a different heading. I'm a British ex-pat , ex-kitesurfer living in NE Thailand. In order to fly my kites, I need to go to the Thai Gulf, or Vietnam, in either of the 2 windy seasons here, the NE monsoon, Nov/Jan or SE monsoon Mar/May. This involves a lot of rugged travelling, but is well worth it for the onshore wind. My main kites are the Prism Quantum, and 4D, with the Neutrino and Kaiju on their way to me. I have yet to find anyone flying stunt kites at any of the spots I've been to. I'm posting this, just on the off chance that somebody else around here may be in a similar situation, and would welcome a fellow kiter. Alternatively, if any of you guys come to this part of the world, to perhaps get in touch, so we can meet up. Cheers
  2. thanks to wayne and edmond for your feedback cheers gulf of thailand
  3. i used to kitsurf but now i'm into stunt kites. At the risk of sounding stupid, how is it that some low wind kites like the prism 4D are small and yet many moderate to strong wind kites are bigger? in kitesurfing the stronger the wind, the smaller the kite Also, how does the body weight of the flyer (pilot ) affect the size of kite and the strength of flying lines?
  4. i just joined the forum. i managed to find the section where people were selling secondhand kites, but don't know how to contact them
