  1. Thanks for these answers guys! I have a 75' tail that I will definitely be using with it now. I think I'm going to invest in 200#×85' dyneema lines for it just to be on the safe side. Prism sells a set for 65 dollars but I have a feeling that this is overpriced now. It does come with straps but I'm feeling that I should get some padded straps for this beast 😂. I think that would be another 15, and in all honesty I don't know how to attach those. I guess I should figure it out 🤔. If anyone has an opinion on of this please feel free to comment.
  2. Hey everyone. Just a quick question for you Delta Hawk owners out there. Which line set would you recommend for this kite? I've had mine for almost a year now, but still haven't gotten it up in the air. The strongest line-set I have is the set that came with my Hypnotist which is 85'x150#. We are expecting a couple 20+ mph days in the next week, and was curious if I should be looking into getting a stronger line-set than this or if my current set will be up to task without snapping or stretching too much. Thanks guys and gals!
  3. Thanks Wayne! I just requested to join the FB group. Looking forward to meeting more flyers in my area. Definitely planning on attending the Lincoln City fest in June. I won't be able to make it to the festival this weekend, but thanks for the tips on the flying fields where I can expect to meet other fliers. I usually fly Nye Beach in Newport, or Beverly Beach just north of that.
  4. I'm unfamiliar with the NECOINOA. Sorry for the risk of sounding like noob, but what is that? Hope to fly with you too someday!
  5. LOL, yeah I figured that much. Wouldn't want to get Benjamin Franklin'd
  6. Awesome, I will! I'm a bit further north in Corvallis, Oregon. Likewise if you're ever in Newport 😁 I'll be at the Lincoln City festival this summer.
  7. Right on. Then I definitely will! No complications to expect with my kite?
  8. This Monday is my only day off this week and the forecast calls for rain (0.58") throughout the day. I really want to get out there and fly though. Is it ok to fly in these conditions or should I just wait for a better forecast? The wind looks just right on this day, it's just the rain that would be not ideal. It'll be at least a week before I get the chance to go fly again after that day, so I really want to get out there. I recently decided that I want to go fly EVERY chance I get from now on. What do you guys think? What kind of complications, if any, could my kite run into from taking it into these kind of conditions? Thank you in advance for your help!
  9. Hello fellow kite enthusiasts! My name is Jon, and I'm relatively new to the kite scene. 34 years old and in the PNW. Looking forward to learning from you all and hopefully making some new friends! Don't hesitate to drop me a line.
