ISO: B-Series Pro
I am looking for a friend B-Series Pro in the design as John Barresi flies it for example in his video "Great Sand Dunes" from 2014 (see photo).
Condition and what kind of sails do not matter. If someone wants to let go of it - another one would be happy :-)I also have here a bad screenshot of a Rev in red/white, which is also still wanted. If anyone happens to have this, please feel free to offer anything.

From beginner (with only 1 year experience) to beginner. BUT this is only my personal opinion:--> 1. look for experienced pilots to fly with. 2. look for experienced pilots to fly with. 3. look for experienced pilots to fly with.
do you have a suggestions for first set of handles, line?
--> It doesn't matter. The main thing is snagless and with a knot ladder. Buy used with already tied knot ladder if necessary.
any brand, models I should avoid as a beginner?
--> Buy used instead of new. Buy 2 (used) for different wind ranges (instead of 1 new kite). If you don't have a pilot in your area: buy and sell, test and practice according to the video tutorials here.
I see many started on the first Revs but I see mixed reviews on the newer models like the XX.
--> My first quad was also an XX. However, I broke two rods in gusts. (Never had a broken bar since, by the way.) The bars are way too expensive and the Reflex spring unnecessary.Rather go directly to the 1.5 Shape.

Rev I red/gold Vented
I am looking for a Rev I VENTED to match this already existing Rev I in red/gold. I don't know if this one even exists in this shape and colour.

Rev 1.5 John Barresi Standard blue/grey
Sell my Revolution 1.5 John Barresi Standard blue/grey. I have too many sails in this range and it comes up for air too rarely.
Used - but the LE with gauze was completely renewed by Korvokites (one of the best manufactures in Germany). Additionally the sail got Mylar strips for the verticals and a new bridle. So the Rev is now clearly of higher quality than the Original. Frame with 2-wrap Professional Use Only.
Sales and shipping within the EU preferred. Shipping costs within Germany: included! Shipping costs within the EU: 50% is paid by the buyer.
Price: 275,00 EUR

Congrats & have a lot of wind/fun!

Beautiful kite!
Are those 15" handles? Coincidence? Or do you always fly with them?

Whish there where some resellers in Europe or more precise in Germany
Where do you live? We have a few Djinn pilots here. You are welcome to test fly :-)

I don't have enough wind here at home to get the XT into the air regularly. It goes very early – but needs much more wind. I like the sail layout and my costum colours. I really want to see it in the sun more often....
-
No gauze or vented strip. The LE is made of Skytex, the sail of Icarex and one surface.
Here are a few random impressions – the sail shines so beautifully in the sun: https://www.facebook.com/groups/2555616494529611/permalink/3801058143318767/

It took a while, but now I have made my peace with the string tension on the LE. In fact, I am not becoming a fan of it - but I can live with it.
The flight characteristics in low wind were already impressive. I have many kites now and the SUL is really a useful addition for the lower wind range.

Sure thing!
I am also very excited to test the SUL extensively. But at the moment it's 6-7 bft and I'm flying other kites with pleasure

Los Hermanos (esste.com) have released a Super Ultra Light (SUL) for their Detox 2019 series. I've had mine for a few days now.
The SUL has a size of 244 x 76 cm. So it's a bit lower than the other Detox. The weight with spars is 145g.
The leading edge is made of spinnaker and fitted with Sky Shark 2P. The verticals are made of conical Sky Shark 2PT. The end caps are adapted accordingly: Top (LE) small opening, bottom (wingtip) larger opening.
The end caps are of their own high quality and are not very bulky. As usual, the LE is not tensioned with rubber, but with Detox's own string system (but without the additional endcap).
The bridle is a half bridle, i.e. the upper and lower bridle lines are not connected.
I have not yet had the opportunity to fly the SUL extensively (strong gusts). The recommended wind range is 0 - 4 mph. Although the first tests have also been flown at up to 9 mph.
But I really like the first impression: The quality of craftsmanship is top. The SUL makes a very fragile impression on the ground. Super light! In the air, however, it is stable, precise and reacts directly.
But what @John Barresi does with his Djinndoor (prototype), I wouldn't put the SUL through that. That's fine - then this option remains open and eagerly awaited
By the way: I also had two printed kites made by Los Hermanos at the same time. A Rokkaku 1.5 and a Quad Super Custom. The print on both sails is really great.
As far as I know, there are two suppliers (for us here in Europe) who have sails printed: Los Hermanos in Spain and Polo in China.
Quad Super Custom flies similarly to my Rev 1.5 John Barresi STD. Great! I am excited about it.
Pictures of all kites can be found in my album: gallery/album/487-bundukivlieger/

I would say that even as a beginner / less frequent flyer you notice the direct change B Series - Djinn - Detox - B Series immediately. Especially when you play with different line lengths.
But the most obvious difference is the immediate, clear leap in quality in the craftsmanship. Every time I set up my Djinn, for example, I am delighted by the small details (such as the end caps or the bridle).
All my B Pro by Bazzer had to be restored in the meantime (LE, gauze).

You are looking for something like this for 7 Bft ;-) Elphi Mesh 1000%
The price is below a Polo. Or if you are interested in a like-new Rev 1.5 Xtra Vent, send me a PM.

Me?
Nope. I'm a fan of Pedro González (Los Hermanos Show Kites). They print in-house (in Spain) and not in China. I like that. Plus, the service is top notch and the prices are very good as well. Their new Detox 2021 costs 290,00 Euro.
But there are some kite builders who have their sails printed through Polo. And they like the quality!
