Well, for now I'll be testing with just sticky-backed velcro and see how it goes.

So, I’ve got this 30 year-old fighter that came with a marking tape tail for those days when you just want flying to be easy. The tail attaches to the kite with Velcro and over the years the tail has gotten shorter and shorter. I ordered some Presco brand marking tape, but wasn’t sure what type of adhesive might be best to try to add a small square of Velcro to it might be. Anyone here have experience with this type of tape and tail attachment? Or other recommendations?
