Revolution XX quad-line kite for sale
This is a used/like new Rev XX quad-line kite. I've had it for 7 months and it has been flown twice. It is a great looking kite, color pattern is called Hot. There are no rips, tears, stains or fraying. This includes the kite, bag, 1 extra reflex spring, 2 extra spars and manual, all can be seen in the picture. LINE SET & HANDLES NOT INCLUDED.

Revolution XX Tarantula for sale
I am selling my used like new Rev XX Tarantula vented quad-line kite. This is for the kite only, what you see in the pictures. There are no rips, tears, stains or frayed edges. The mesh is in perfect condition. I have used this 1 time in the 6 months I have owned it and most of the time it sat home in the closet. I don't get to use it much as the winds don't get that strong very often. This is a great kite but just don't have the need for it.
Includes:
Kite, bag, 1 extra reflex spring and instruction booklet.
Price is listed but open to reasonable offers.

I looked at the bridle this afternoon, the brake lines have 5 knots and HQ recommends starting on the middle knot and adjust from there depending on how much brake you want. I think it is like this on the Tensor as well.
I went ahead and ordered another one of prism's control bar and will give it a try.

I haven't looked at the brake lines on the bridle but was told that there are three knots for adjusting to the amount of brake. Also I can adjust the length of the center attachment point as well.

Hi all,
Just picked up a like new Hq Toxic II 5.0 quad line power kite. It came with the quad handles but I was wondering if I can also use it like I use my Tensor with the convertible control bar? The brake lines would be tied together to the safety leash in the center of the bar.

I ordered what was called an iFlite classic pink and an iFlite II vented in white from two different vendors, first I want to say I am excited to get them both in the air.
The iFlite II came first this morning and it was as expected, had a slight pink tinge to it and I like it better than pure white. latter today the iFlite classic showed up and the color is definitely pink. When I opened the IFlite classic there was a big hole in the center, looks like they shipped me a vented version. This was the last one they had because it is now gone off their site. I paid $38.00 for it which is cheaper than anyone sells the vented for.
Can someone tell me the differences in how the vented and non-vented will fly, I plan on using them indoors.
I am very pleased with them just want to know if I should still get a non-vented.

It's not a spool, I made this out of lexan. 2.5" x 3.5" and I use Nylon upholstery thread.

Yes, I have the same handles. I replaced the leaders on the top and bottom to match what was in the manual. Instead of 2 knots on each I have 3. I put the bottom one on the middle knot and the top one on the furthest from the handle to start and adjust until I get a good launch and light brake.

I think in time with more practice you will be just as precise. I did notice how lite it feels, almost like there is nothing on the ends of the lines.
What color did you order?

Yesterday was the official release of the Fulcrum.85 A video was released earlier in the week as well. I had pre ordered a Gold, Orange and Red one. Jon put it together yesterday morning and I picked it up yesterday afternoon. I headed out to the park right after, winds were lite so I put in the UL spars and got a little air time.
The logo is printed on the bags not a decal.
Well worth the wait, it Flys wonderfully.

I saw Jon this evening and asked him about the handles, he was using 14" but said he could wait to switch back to his 13". He did say regarding the flip that "the longer handle might do a little better because you have more down there for the brake".
Here is a picture comparison if the Rev carbon wrapped handle (black) and the OSK handle (red). As you can see the OSK aren't curved as much. The red handle has the leader set up like in the Fulcrum manual.

When one purchases a complete package (kite, line and handles) the handles that come with it are the Ocean Shore Kite brand 13". They are an anodized solid aluminum handle with a firmer grip than the Revs, they also have less of a curve to them. I can take a picture of them compared to my Rev handles tonight when I get home. The leaders are tied like you would find on a Rev style handle, I got some 200# bridle line and made new leaders as shown in the Fulcrum manual but added a couple of extra knots.
Whether the length is a factor when flipping the kite, we have not spoke about that but I will ask when I see him possibly tonight or this weekend. I believe Jon uses the same ones.

I've flown my full sail in some high winds and when the gusts came up I was concerned about snapping the cross spars. That's when I decided to get the vented. I got it around the first of July and last weekend was the first time I had strong enough winds to try it out.
Jon said I could put in the UL spars and fly it in lower winds just haven't done it, easier to get the other one out. The vented is actually heavier than the full sail
F/S: Std - 11.9 oz UL - 10.9 oz
Vented: 12.5 oz
I think the mesh adds weight to the kite which would put it between the Std & UL frame weight.
I think it might be louder than the f/s, maybe just the higher winds. But it sounds great

I was in the store last week and asked about it, Jon said getting closer but didn't have a date.
I did get my vented full size, had it out last Sunday and it flew nice and smooth in winds 12-15 mph with gusts.

Prism Tensor 4.2
For sale is a Prisim Tensor 4.2. This is Prism's medium traction quad-line kite. There is nothing medium about it, in light wind it is easy to fly and as the winds get stronger so does the pull. I've had this about five years when I bought it new but have only flown it a out 6 times. It is in excellent condition, no rips, tears or stains. All stitching is great and all zippers on the carry bag are in perfect shape. It is complete with Prism's convertible power bar and Kite kill. I still have the owners manual and hang tag. I love the kite but after a vertebrate fusion I just don't use it anymore.
The price includes shipping in the continental USA.

Don’t replace the dowel! It shouldn’t break, but if it does, you can replace it for under a buck at your local hardware store. The environment will thank you!

I set it up with the spar next to the sail. Not an problem that it's not a Gomberg, it was free and it works. Looks like a decent copy.
