  1. We park on the beach if it's packed enough, or use the lot if not!! Usually just to the left if you were to follow the road out to the water! There's a wind break we use as a base of operations, unless really wet out!

Wayne, I see the big wooden wind breaks are parked up on the side of Sid Snyder, just east of the Restrooms. The good news...I see a big grader out there this morning, grading the approach road :)

  2. I've found many places that sell tubing, but I haven't been able to find anywhere that has a selection of the other hardware (fittings, connectors) in various sizes. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'm especially interested in stunt kite hardware and dihedral fittings in various sizes and angles.

    Thanks!

Yes, have parts and fiitings! http://www.thekiteshoppe.com/categories/Kite-Parts-and-Supplies/

If you don't see what you need on the web site, call me, as I don't always have a page made for everything! (someday)

We will be on the beach thru August 26th, so next shipping date is Aug 28th. OR...come to Long Beach, WA and find me at WSIKF...as I always carry parts for emergency repairs on the beach.

  3. OK, Next question(s). What is Tedlar tape and where do I get it. And has anyone used the superglue method? I could do that with available supplies. Thanks.

    Hi!

The super glue method works great on SMALL holes, that are NOT in a stress point on the sail.

And it doesn't hurt to go ahead and try a repair with the super glue. If it looks like it didn't join the edges good, then go with the tape.
