  10. no problem with the lenthly explanations guys , any advice I can get is good avice, thanx
  11. had the several diffrent kites out today, some are more forgiving re tight turns and some kinda slop around the corners, but then again I could be leaning on the corners to tight------------I like to do precise horizotal square 8s, vertical square 8s are fun too, not to mention wing overs--------------cheers
  12. thanx guys for your "constructive input".........BTW I was the only one flying and yes I am surprised everything held up and yes , I was in complete control, just a little sore today!!!! cheers
  13. "CONSTRUCTIVE input" is always welcome
  14. HOW MUCH WIND IS TOO MUCH?? WAS OUT TODAY WITH THE BIG HAWWIAN AND PRISM QUANTUM, JUST ABOUT DRUG ME DOWN THE FREAKIN FIELD ON MY BEHIND AND I WEIGH 230!!! ID ESTIMATE ABOUT A 25-30 MPH WIND------SO TELL ME WHAT YA THINK, IS THIER SUCH A THING AS TOO STRONG A WIND???CHEERS.........
  15. I wasnt aware re the light wind/strong wind settings would regulate the pull, lots to learn , thanx
  16. ed, I just check settings from last flight and yes it was on the light wind side-----
  17. interesting----------seems like some are aware but nobody seems to have a definitive solution, well we just gota keep on strokin till it gets figured out.... cheers
  18. havent been flyin kites that long but already have many kites and am doing a few stunts, "being into model airplanes for 35 yrs " Im aware of wind behaviors etc... anyway, if ya dont like breaking kites ya might wanna try the alpha + I believe the leading edge comes apart when the ground jumps up at ya, other than that it seems to like a strong wind and handles fairly well, just my 2 cents worth
