  1. Don't be so nice to Rob! He's a Newport guy, which in reality makes him a great guy alright, but still................
  2. Hahahahahaha........Bob is definitely not from Afghanistan, that I can tell you. Bob is however, DEFINITIVELY from the dark side. He transistioned there over the last 2 months....hardcore. Good luck to those who are new subs to kitelife. It's a warm happy place!
  3. Congrats to you Litsong on the new addition to your kite bag. Please say hi to Wen. And nicely done to cerfs-volantstylistes for generosity above and beyond the average person.
  4. To have broke something means you actually had to have been flying your kites, not talking about it!!!!!!!!!!!!
  5. said this over on the Rev forum but will paste here as well.................. Ant, my fellow Jersey boy, partner in crime and big time ball buster........... There isn't a time when we fly together that we aren't laughing it up, busting it down or just having a great time. I couldn't think of a gift for you that would do you justice so hows about a trip to Hawaii??? What? Can't go? Me thinks you're already there..........times 2. Pick one and keep it as a gift from me to you. I'll take the other one back when I see you. Happy happy birthday my brother.!!!!!!!!!!!
  6. John, Please promise not to put up a mid-vent B-series in Lime ... you know, with line and all. I'll never get to sleep if you do that. Cheers, Tom Wow man!!!! With all due respect...........and a healthy bit of jealousy, didn't you just come away with a beautiful SUL???? Did I say I was jealous????? Still waiting for that gosh darn random number generator thingamabob to spit out my number!!!!!!!!!!
  7. Shameless my butt!!!!!!!!! Nothing shameless about offering up a great kite that everyone wants. I mean really now.......Who wouldn't want a brand new B series? Doubt you'll see anyone saying "nah, I don't want it"
  8. Hope you had/have a wonderfully happy and healthy birthday and many more with all the good things life has to offer. I had a great time flying with both you and Wen at Liberty State Park this past summer and look forward to doing it again very soon. Warm regards to Wen. Be well stay safe and again, Happy birthday!!!!!
  9. U rock JB. Just posted a pic over there for my entry. One of these days......................
  10. Hey Ant......... Think the limit on owned revs was 4, not 40!!!!!!! How many Revs you got??????????//
  11. Tristan, I really enjoyed your performance. You are already quite an amazing talent. Keep it up. I look forward to seeing many more stellar routines!!!! For that matter all the routines by "the youth" were spectacular. I really enjoyed watching all of them.
  12. Proud owner of one here!!!
  13. Hi Windbuster.... I'm sorry I can't answer your question. I don't know the music Ron was flying to but it is always exciting to watch him fly. I visited Israel this summer and was able to fly at the top of Masada and on the Beach by the Dead Sea. I also was able to fly in Caesaria on King Herod's Chariot track. It was all very exciting. Where in Israel do you live? Where do you go to fly? In hindsight I guess I want to know the places I should have gone. With the exception of Caesaria, flying at the 2 other locations yielded seriously low almost zero wind conditions.
  14. Happy Birthday Wen. A few of us were at Liberty State Park yesterday talking about you. Lisa, Scotty and I were remembering the NJSKC at Liberty over the summer and how much fun we had when everyone had packed up to leave and it was just a bunch of us, Lisa, Scott, me, Dennis, Ian and you and your mom (maybe a few others) flying together. Lisa even mentioned she had some photos from then. Hopefully she will post them. Again, Happy 15th birthday Wen!!!!!!!!!!
  15. For those that don't read the Rev forum, heres a topic I just posted over there that might interest some of you. A friend pointed me in the direction of this article about our very good friend Scotty Weider. http://www.boston.com/lifestyle/articles/2...ld_on_a_string/ It's a great article about Scotty primarily but promotes indoor flying and kiting in general. Way to go SCOTTY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. I gotta take up indoor flying!!!!!!!!!!! I've tried it once or twice, dual line only. But you guys rock it out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing videos, every last one of them. Thanks for posting them Wen.

    Kite Lingo

Perhaps a better way to do this would be for you to list some terms you've heard but don't get.
