As soon as I saw the second clue, I knew what the word was. Unfortunately, I wasn't on the forum early enough. Instead I was opening three new kite presents and then went out to fly this afternoon. Adding in my two latest additions. 1 Rev SLE 1 Beautiful Evil quad That brings my total up to 30. I think that's enough, don't you?

I've been adding to my Quad line collection again. This time an older Rev, a screen print Rev and an older vintage quad line. At some point in time they will all be flown. Most probably at festivals next year. They deserve an audience.

Unfortunately I was unable to attend the first day of the Carolina Kite Festival due to a family emergency. The second day was canceled because of the weather (rain and high winds). However, I was able to get to the kite shop before the festival and see what the featured guests and kitebuilders, Ray Wong and Randy Tom, had brought with them. And I just had to put a new kite in my bag. This is the Warrior Princess Edo that Randy Tom made this year. It flies beautifully and looks so striking in the sky. (I did get to the flying fields for about 30 minutes late Saturday.) I also got to spend some time talking to Ray and Randy about kite building, applique techniques and air brushing. Learned a lot in just a short time.

I have two peter powell stunt diamonds but I have never stacked them so I'm afraid I'm no help. As for the flexies, I have a source I can ask but it will be next week as we are right in the middle of our local kite festival and everyone is crazy busy at the moment.

Looking at the numbers of the newer members and then at my own number, I feel absolutely prehistoric. Yes, I will drool over this one. It will go well with my white Dream On and white Little Dreamer. I wonder if it would stack well with them.
