    Is Every one Ready and booked for WSIKF ?...........

    I have a room with 2 beds , booked for the 16th - 23rd ... and I can only sleep in one .
    It is a couple blocks from the Festival.

    A very reasonable Rate.

    So if you need a place , or know someone in a jam you can PM me here or Facebook.

    I went to the Monthly Rogue Valley Windchasers Fun Fly this weekend, Beach was packed, Wind was light and I flew for hours , it was awesome !!!
    OH YEAH !! The Rant !!

    Watched the firework's , went to bed , woke up at the normal 4:30 am, left the hotel with no key, 1 rev kite bag and coffee.
    It is normally Foggy , chilly and Zero wind . But I fly anyways...
    I had no plans to return, I walk a half mile to the beach, Blue sky, No Fog and Beautiful 8-12 mph Wind... WOW..
    Now , I have 4 kite bags at the hotel... single line's, Power kite's, Line laundry, scrub board and my brother in-law.
    No cell service, and I am not walking back.....It's Rough
    So ... Can you believe it..... I Have to pull out a brand new x-tra vent, that I have had for almost a year and never flown..... AND FLY IT ..
    For almost 3 hours ...before the other flyers showed up..
    And then it was time to go Home......... Sorry all... no kite breakage... Just a broken Heart, Having to go home!!!

    Rant; Newbie Brother in-law - Missed out on the Excellent Wind .
    4 bags of un-flown kites
    Took video with head mount go pro, and the camera view was not adjusted right, nothing good in the frame !
    Had to leave............

    Yes, Makatakam....The sail was wet.... from taking a unplanned swim !not so much from the mist.

    The wind was blowing Down stream, But the down draft from the Falls overpowered the wind, pushing upstream.

    Not much room for foot work, All good fun , loved it.... :crazy:

    It's not much , but I am sure some fellow kite flyer will Appreciate and Enjoy this little package of Love.

    what I have got is a lime green, ITW Classic Hata, w/ blue tail and a case , flown once, like new.

    and a book by Jeremy Boyce. " How to Make and Fly Stunt Kites "..... it's in new condition.

  22. Who fly's near columbia SC , or Charleston ?

    I am headed to Columbia, South Carolina week of 10-22, - 10-27, for my daughters graduation from boot camp !! :) and may find some time to fly, plan on a drive into charlston also , soooo , I am testing the waters, to see who may be around that part of the country ?? Just checking ??
