  1. Thank you very much for these links and your advises John ! It is also great to know you begin a new serie of dual lines tuts ! :-D BTW : I post here some "funny for you" exercises I done with cheap 2 lines. Even if not mounted upside down this time, but I guess a bit funny to make you laught a bit CU later, Guy
  2. Hi there, I am learning kiting with 4 lines but I am also rapt with wonder by these kind of things made with 2 lines kites : So my question is pretty simple : how can I learn alone and at my own rythm to pilot 2 lines like this ? Is there some DVD or at least some books to learn these tricks from the basic beginning ? Thank you very much for your good advices and links folks, Guy
  3. Hello folks, I think this makes sens to train with a trainer, as to learn how to pilot without enough wind : My Best, Guy
  4. Ha ha ha, Thanks all for your kind words and funny experiences ! If you want take a look at my most recent learning curve point, you can watch this with Google Translate tool on the top right : (this Revolution is a Spanish one under Revolution brand license, numbered and customised with my name "Alomphega" ) http://nauticaerium....t-sous-les.html or you can also watch on YT directly : Best wishes, Guy
  5. Thank you very much for your advices and thinking, kwmf, John, and Baloo ! Best regards, Guy
  6. Thank you very much John, but I am not sure to understand what is a "bunji cord" ? Baloo : yes, I also watch twice all this before flying Best, Guy
  7. Thanks for your answer windofchange, but this not answers to my interrogation so I apologize for my poor English writing and if I wasn't clear enough with my question. Regarding your offer I thank you but alas I live in Europe, so I guess I can't buy my kites in USA without heavy customs taxes. I meant I would like to know if it is needed to set some stuff, ie : before the first flying is it useful to settle items such as tighten the elastic edges, put the washers so that nodes not pucker the ends, etc. ? Cordially, Guy
  8. Ok, thanks kwmf, but I wonder what are these "30 feet" John talks about this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RbFXYrIlyss Say : can I cut my 4 lines to 9 meters for continuing to train myself or 13,5 meters could be very best ? Best Regards, Guy
  9. Hello all, Me again, with basic questions again... I wonder if it is needed to settle a Rev (say a real Revolution brand) before its first fly ? What about the XP, the 1,5 SLE, the B-series and the B-series PRO ? Are all these models ready to fly or is it needed to do some stuff ? Thank you very much for your help, Guy
  10. Hello all, Well, I want to fly (yes my new wonderful B-series ;-) on the beaches, where people can walk, of course without hurting nor bothering anyone. So I would shorten my lines... So could you tell me what are the smallest lengths of lines required for the B-series ? Thank you very much for your help, Guy
  11. You also make my day Jynx ! Thanks for you kind message ! Kitingly, (well, trying to be so ) Guy
  12. Ah ah ah ! Thanks for this story John ! This encourage me because I did the same error, the proof in video : http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x7wmmy_20081229-essais-kite-revolution_tech But I doubt I have enough time in front of me in my whole life to become as good as you ! ;-) Best wishes, Guy
  13. Sure you are right, so I'll search there as soon as I will be able to download all the KiteLines collection. But yourself John, could you tell us what was your reaction the first time you have seen one 4 lines stunt kite ? Was it a Rev ? Were you fallen in love instantly or after trying it ? Perhaps this interesting story is already somewhere, so maybe you have a link ? Best Regards, Guy
  14. Mine too ;-) BTW I read "Revolution" was "formerly Neos Omega" and I searched the first articles about this new kind of stunt kite, so... if you know the first article about the first appearance of a 4 lines stunt kite, it will be welcomed ! Kitingly, Guy
  15. Again I could not do it without prior dowload all the magasines, and the goal of my question was just to avoid to dowload all before searching ! So now I'll go to dowload the right issues ASAP. Thanks a lot for your efficient help John ! Best Regards, Guy

  17. Hello, Almost the same message as for KiteLines forum side... Since I'm not English fluent, I can't read quickly over all these amazing publications. I wonder where was the first article speaking about "the revolution" about the first "Revo" in the world ? Could you help ? What is the Stunt Kite Quarterly issue to download to discover this historic article ? Thank you very much, Guy (related topic - )

  19. Yes John, but nowadays some allow this and in the help it is told how to do about this function, so I thought that it was possible here to do this, but no matter, all is good like this, and thanks for your answers Best Regards, Guy
  20. Hi John, Thanks, but in fact I wanted to "try" some nicknames, then take the one I will prefer, so for this it is a good idea if I can do it myself in few minutes, but not if I have to ask you every 3 seconds... So as it seems to not be possible to do it ourself, I like "Guy Capra (Alomphega)" enough to keep it like that ;-) Best wishes, Guy
  21. "Rev" sounds like "dream" in French ! :-D

  22. Hello all, New happy subscriber off KL, I wonder how to change my display name ? I actually show my first name, name and nickname - as "Guy Capra (Alomphega)" - but I would like to show only my nickname to be shorter. I don't find the setting options to do that, could you help me ? Kitingly yours, Guy
