A day of no work.... But plenty of rain.

What's a kite flyer supposed to do?

After 4+ hrs of flying in 15mph winds steady yesterday...

The trees blowing in 15/25mph wind today is sounding like work.....

After almost a week of no flying... I check the coastal winds and see a big fat 0...it's nice to know that it won't effect me one bit!

There WILL be a kite in the air!

Almost 2 hours too kill...

And a jeep full of kites.

Whats a guy too do?

Always be thoughtful of what you wish for.... You just might get it!

I wished for wind...it came in the form of about 12knts. Now, 2 busted kites and my weekend just begun...... D'oh

At the Treasure Island kite festival I spoke with someone that said "I lost 30lbs when I started Kiting"

Today I stepped on a scale, and I'm down 20lbs. On the threshold of being under 200lbs for the first time in over 25yrs. WOW!

So, instead of gym memberships, I buy more kites!

Blowing 9-31 mph..I need a full vent kite!

Hint..hint...poke...nudge....slap.

In my haste togo from barefoot soccer field fun to water play on a large pond.....instead of switching to shorter lines , I left 80's on which set my kite in the non-manicured landscape area for launch...one short tug...POP...all my fault! I feel so guilty that I might just have to buy a pair of frames.....so it has company!

Double your pleasure...double your fun..when you put 2 kites up....it pulls a hell of a lot more than 1!

A very windy day...and after an hour of being dragged...my face hurts from smiling!

Feeling a Wala Xl today...dead tired and a very slight breeze.

That is if I can ever get motivated to stand back up and walk 30yds.....

Feeling charitable today... Gonna help out someone that is wishing for Summer sun..warm sand..and easterly wind...

I feel like a bad kite owner.....as my kites sit couped up in the back of a Jeep with a thrown rod...or 2.... and all my kite money goes towards vehicle repairs.

One more day my friends, and there will be First class taxi service to sunshine and salt air!

Although.... I did fly for about an hour in the living room for about an hour after midnite(and video soon) the other day Nice to have the Iflite addition to the kite mix!

I hate to say it...but a day off from flying for now.

Time to make 50# line sets and hmmmmmm.... Some stack lines. Think its time to link a few kites together, maybe 2/3 of a progressive stack with the Rev II and the 1.5?

I must say that I am very fortunate to live in a town like Jacksonville as a kite flier. With our river,seven bridges,downtown,city parks, and last but not least....beaches. The wind is accessible everywhere.. It gives me many locations to say...that looks like a good spot,stop,and let it fly!

And when no wind is to be found....break a sweat,run it out on the beach, and let it fly!
