  1. Ocean Shores kites have one called the Challenger max. My son and I have them and have flown them up to about 30 mph wind. Decent kites for the price.
  2. A green one was the first stunt kite my grandparents got me back in the 80’s. Sure wish I still had it.
  3. Congratulations you’ll be amazed how well they perform if you haven’t had the privilege to try one.
  4. Two Fulcrums nice. Haven’t had mine out in a while, put it back in the kite bag for this weekend. If you get a chance try out a Djinn or if your like me just buy one you won’t be disappointed I guarantee it. Soon you will be like the rest of us and have way too many kites but that’s one way of figuring out what we like. I keep saying I’m going to sell some but never do. I’ve given a few away to new flyiers
  5. That’s awesome your first flight with it was with John T. no better person to learn from for sure. Glad you had such a good first flight with the Fulcrum. And like Edmond said I wouldn’t give up on your Revs yet you probably just need more air time with them.
  6. 90 wow. Nice collection Riff I’d love to try one of your home built kites someday. My next purchase will probably be a Djinndoor when they get to market.
  7. Dang this one has a lot of air going thru it. What is the lower wind range for this one?
  8. Djinn mid vent is my recommendation if your after precision. The supersonic would be my suggestion for speed, in the right hands it will fly faster in reverse than a 1.5 sail will forward. I only get mine out once or twice a year if that.
  9. My first rev is same color scheme and came with the SLE leading edge and I think The 2 wrap I’d have to look to be sure.
  10. Use a carabiner to hook handles to kite bag a fence chair anything heavy enough to hold kite up
  11. That’s awesome [emoji122] pretty cool looking kite.
  12. I buy 900 or so foot spools of LPG and sleeving material and make all my own. In 50 pound I have 30, 50, and 100 foot in 90 pound same lengths plus 30, 65, 85 and 120. Sometimes space is small so the short lines is all that will work and other times I enjoy the short lines 30 or 50 ft so I can see the kite and wraps on wing tips to make ground recovery easier. Light wind has became my preferred wind for duel line. When the wind picks up above 10 or so I usually get out the quads.
  13. That’s pretty sweet looking.
  14. Mamba UL will fly well in 3 and even down to two or slightly less with arm movements or a little foot work. It’s really not comparable to a pro dancer SUL but is way more trick capable. If your trying to fly in less than 2 get a pro dancer. For 2 and above up to 7 or 8 the Mamba is a way better choice. I always switch out when wind hits 6 or so with my moonie mamba. Usually don’t fly PD SUL above 4 or 5 but I have too many kites to fly and not enough time.
  15. Pro Dancer is my go to SUL when the wind is less than 2 it’s the one kite I know that will always fly. I have a couple UL for 3 to 4 Delta Drive UL or Mamba UL. If you want to fly below 2 I recommend the Sky Burner Pro Dancer it’s not a trick machine but in the right hands is capable of a few.

  17. When I order parts like this I order a few, 3,4 maybe 5 or 6, of the size I think I need and bigger and smaller that way I get what I need and then some. Also get some of the plastic C clips to hold them in place. I purchased several of each size smaller and bigger than I think I needed and it’s been handy having extra parts. Kites and Fun Things is where I purchase all firings and they sell Sky Shark rods too.
  18. I went to a duel line clinic in Long Beach WA put on on by John a couple years ago. Paul Dabacker and Scott Weider were there helping to teach all of us tricks or what ever we wanted to learn. At one point John had Paul flying his Hydra and was calling out tricks one after another for several minutes. Paul only hesitated on a double roll up, but pulled it off with ease. I was amazed at how Paul’s feet were constantly moving, and that’s what I learned from him that day. Keep your feet moving. I’m no trick flier by no means but have learned a few over the last couple years after attending the clinic. My personal favorite kite is an ATM I have both STD and UL and beat the crap out of both and they have taken the abuse with minor repairs. Kind of gotten off topic sorry. My Mamba is the UL Moonie version so I take it easier on it than most of my other kites. When I started flying it I kept having issues with wing wraps and was unable to unwrap on the ground with out walking. I added vinyl end caps to solve this problem for me. The Mamba has replaced my Solus UL that I flew into a T post at WSKIF last year. I’m usually not so long winded. Sorry. You are going to enjoy your mamba! Nice choice [emoji847]
  19. Your going to enjoy your Mamba, I love mine. I haven’t been able to connect with my Hydra yet. Enjoy
  20. I’ll throw out another option. A 3 wind from the Kite Shoppe goes for around 200. Talk with Theresa, I’m sure see will give you a good deal with handles and lines. And the 3 wind handles are 13” or 14” they are adjustable to your preference or wind conditions.
