  1. First time I’ve been to Kiawah. I had looked at the google map and saw a narrow beach. I brought a Bora 7, Stowaway Delta, Snapshot 1.9, and a Micron. Low and behold, low tide is wide, flat, and hard packed. This afternoon the wind came up and I flew the micron, but sure wish I had brought my Tensor and several other kites, knowing what I know now.
  2. Ok. Closing it down. Looks like we have 5. RNG to choose soon! 1) Blky2k 2) Myassetsinwater 3) DavidW 4) Loopy Kiter 5) Mike Klaiber
  3. Yes. I’m in, I am in, In, etc. I’m not picky.
  4. It was a tough decision, but Blue has been liberated from the triple stack. I’ll get a bridle back on it and it looks like I have a set of lines that have never been flown. RNG will make the decision in the afternoon on Friday the 26th and it will ship on Monday the 29th. Some rules and guidelines: Don’t play unless you’re willing to put up a prize and ship it to whoever wins. Shipping is paid by the original poster, the winner pays nothing. Be prepared to ship your prize anywhere in the lower 48 US States. Sorry, but due to shipping costs, we really have to limit this to the lower 48 US States. RULE CHANGE (7/31/2014): Members from Canada, Alaska, and Hawaii are welcome to enter the Karma drawings provided they are willing to pay half of the Karma prize shipping cost. The method and timing of the payment will be agreed upon between the two parties after the drawing for a particular prize. You can choose the length of the giveaway, but keep it between 1 and 2 weeks. Try to ship the prize promptly. You should be able to ship it within a week, but if you can’t, PM the winner and let them know. Sometimes life gets in the way! This whole thing works on the honor system so if there are any problems shipping or receiving a prize, it needs to be worked out between the two parties. Don’t forget…Karma! This isn’t a competition, but feel free to be generous! If you can only put up a hat, or a tail for a stunt kite, great! If you have something in your kite bag that you never fly and would be willing to ship, that’s great too. Either way, the people that join to win it will appreciate it. When you receive your prize, post a thank you to the thread where you won it. The thread will be locked after that point so the new **KARMA** stays above it. Good luck, and have fun!
  5. Sorry for the delay. I’ll get something down, and posted, during nap time tomorrow.
  6. I’m in. I said I wouldn’t, but I am. The list is tall enough now, that if it happens, it was meant to be.
  7. Found and purchased an Inferno. They also had Orca.
  8. Many thanks. I’ve only looked into the “local” and well known US shops.
  9. You and me both, but you will get one first because I probably can’t pay as generously.
  10. Shipped and PMd tracking info. P.S. Remember I said “We will see if anything else can fit..?” Well a couple small things may have fallen in there...
  11. Hey Scooter, send me an addy, and I’ll send you some stuff!
  12. I’m good with it. I’m also 250 miles from home. I wish I was still there. I forgot to pack my Micron before heading to the beach...
  13. Ok, if we get a second name in the hat, I’ll draw late tomorrow. If not, the new date is 5/1. That will be the date whether there is 1 or 100.
  14. Looks like we might have to stretch this one out. I’ll be gone flying over the weekend. We can wait until we get at least 2-3 or I’ll wait for admin advice.
  15. Sweetening the deal with a NewTechKites 14” Circle Box kite. Im pretty much locked in on a shipping box now. We will see if anything else can fit...
  16. Drawing on Wednesday April 24. This is a house cleaning of sorts. At very least this Karma will include 2 Wacky Worms, an ITB Red/White/Blue SLK, and padded grab handles. There may be more if I’m afforded the time to dig through my bags. Some rules and guidelines: Don’t play unless you’re willing to put up a prize and ship it to whoever wins. 17. I mentioned bring it back up. It got two ❤️, but no real traction. If it’s time, I’ll make it happen. It might be my last hurrah for a while.
  18. Have the winter doldrums passed? I know Reynolds and Benz don’t have an off season, but it’s been miserable here. If it’s time, I’ll work on getting something together to keep the karma flowing.
